00:00Good evening. Well, we've got a colder night to come with some places waking up to a touch of frost by Monday morning.
00:07And having a look at the bigger picture, we've had some cold Arctic air over us through today.
00:13But as we go through the week, we actually have higher pressure becoming more dominant.
00:17So things are going to be settling down. Plenty of sunshine, but still holding on to some chilly nights as well.
00:23But back to the rest of this evening then. And many places holding on to lengthy clear skies as we go through the night.
00:31Many showers fading away, just confined more so across Windward coasts and especially more so across Orkney and Shetland.
00:38But otherwise, lengthy clear skies, lighter winds as well. That will help temperatures generally fall away.
00:45And we'll see some mist and fog patches developing too.
00:47But temperatures generally holding up across the far southeast where we hold on to a bit more of a breeze here.
00:52So as we start Monday morning then, a frosty start for some of us. Perhaps there's some mist and fog patches too.
00:59But otherwise, plenty of blue sky out there. A bit more cloud across Scotland, especially across western areas.
01:06And then holding on still to some blustery showers in that northwesterly wind across Orkney and Shetland.
01:12Otherwise, some cloud will build into the afternoon, especially across East Anglia.
01:16May even see just a few showers clipping the far southeast.
01:19But otherwise, temperatures are still a little bit below average for the time of year, ranging from 13 to up to 17 degrees in the far south.
01:29So with the lighter winds here, it should still feel pleasant enough.
01:33Now, as we go through Monday evening then, we hold on to clear skies too.
01:39So most of the cloud will start melting away.
01:41There'll be a focus for some showers just clipping into parts of Kent and perhaps even to East Anglia.
01:47Still a few showers across Orkney and Shetland, but perhaps a little bit lighter and fewer compared to recent days.
01:53Otherwise, clear skies may allow for some mist and fog patches and again, temperatures falling away to give a touch of frost to start Tuesday morning.
02:02Perhaps just not as cold across Scotland with a slight shift in the wind direction.
02:06But otherwise, it's another largely fine and settled start to the day.
02:12A chilly start out there, but for most it's fine and dry.
02:16The cloud will generally start bubbling up as we go through the afternoon and we've still got a focus for showers,
02:21mainly across the far southeast of England as we go through the afternoon.
02:26But otherwise, sunny spells for many and dry, especially now across Orkney and Shetland, seeing some sunnier spells through the afternoon.
02:33Otherwise, temperatures ranging from 13 to possibly up to 18 degrees in the best of any sunshine across the south.
02:42So we hold on to higher pressure as we go through the rest of the week as well,
02:46but make sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss any detail on that.
02:49And I'll see you very soon. Bye bye.
