00:07when the option to be skipped from Form 225 was offered to her, she embraced the challenge.
00:15I was excited because I want to finish school fast, honestly, so I was excited when she made that offer.
00:26And I'm a very egotistical person, kind of, so when she made that offer, my ego was like, let's do it.
00:35Whatever happens, happens. Let's do it. Let's finish school.
00:39Transferred from the St. Charles High School in Trinidad and now living in Tobago, Leeloo said she was not nervous at first,
00:48but exam days came and many thoughts ran through her mind.
00:52When exams came, the actual legit exams, I wasn't nervous at all, but I was a bit scared of the results
01:06because of what I would have went through during the period up to results.
01:12Leeloo said she made a number of sacrifices to remain focused on her goals,
01:17including deleting her social media accounts and distancing herself from distractions.
01:24Principal of the Signal Hill Secondary School, Ariana Dabro Ford, told TV6 News,
01:30observing the high grades of the student when she entered the school in Form 2,
01:35the decision was made to have her skipped to Form 5.
01:38I know some persons did not believe that she could do it at such a young age.
01:45It was a big jump, but she did it, and she did it so well.
01:50And because she did it so well, we are currently seeking the permission for her to transition into Form 6.
01:57Mrs. Dabro Ford said the results in Leeloo's CSEC exams came as no surprise to her.
