00:00I think 2015, I'm pretty sure it was Mumford and Sons that was on the main stage.
00:05I actually didn't do the camping, which I'd probably regret.
00:08If I had a camped, I'd probably say I wish I'd have gone home
00:10because I've seen the carnage that sometimes follows.
00:12Make sure you take your tents and your litter with you, you know.
00:15I do see that sometimes it's a bit of a disappointment when you see the amount of litter that's left.
00:19I've never been to Leeds Festival, but some of my friends have, and they've really enjoyed it.
00:25Really enjoyed it, so yeah, but I don't like a good festival.
00:29I actually went to the original Leeds Fest, which was at Temple Newsom,
00:32when it was a free festival many, many years ago because I live near there.
00:37But I've never been to the one at Bramholm, but my son went there while I was at university, two years running.
00:44He enjoyed it. There were some good bands there at the time.
00:48There was Prodigy on, etc, etc, which I quite like.
00:52But on the whole, I'm not overly keen on a lot of the bands are now going to just DJs, you see the musicians.
01:00So I would like to see, it'd be nice to see somebody like Radiohead there.
01:05I mean, I saw Jean-Michel Jarre at Leeds Arena, and that would be an amazing outside gig.
01:14If you could get him there, that'd be amazing. Yeah, I'd definitely go then.
01:18I've never been to Bramham Park Festival. I'd love to go to a festival.
01:22It's on my list of things to do. But I guess in terms of what puts me off at the moment,
01:28is the getting out and getting home and the public transport to where I need to be, really.
01:33I must admit, I've never been to a festival at all, never mind Leeds Fest.
01:36Although I've heard of it, but I've never had the opportunities to go.
01:40So it will be something I'd like to do one day, but I've never made it, unfortunately.
01:44Let's see REM, ELO, I'm running out of acronyms here. Yes, those are those two perhaps.
01:53Yes, Stereophonics, lots of bands I like, of course, are no longer in existence for various reasons.
02:00But I think that's an example I'd like to see. I'm not sure the logistics of pulling those acts in.
02:05Youngblood is really coming on. Yeah, like we've just lost Ozzy. So Youngblood, yeah, get him on.
02:13Mumford & Sons was there when I went in 2015. I had just bought the house.
02:17So rather than camping out, we all went back to my house and had a bit of a party.
02:22But yeah, that's actually only the once I've been to Leeds Fest.
02:26But it is a great, it's a great atmosphere. But yeah, make sure you tidy your tents away.
02:31Don't leave that park in such a mess. It's such a shame when you see it.
02:34I've dropped my son off at the Leeds Fest when he was, I think he was 16.
02:40So the experience is trying to get in and out. Yeah.
02:45I'd love to go there and see Bruce Springsteen, actually. I'd like to see him come back to Leeds.
02:50He did Roundy Park in 85 and he opened the new Leeds Arena in 2013.
02:57And it's time he came back, actually.
