00:00For me, I suppose on a personal level, it's been quite a good year. I've started a new job, which has been good.
00:07And yeah, I've been doing a lot of rope climbing, which is something that's been quite challenging.
00:14For me, I'm afraid of heights. And so I've been doing that to challenge myself, get myself out of my comfort zone.
00:21And this might not mean anything to any viewers who don't climb, but the other day I smashed a 6B,
00:27which is quite apparently a difficult climb.
00:30It's been a big year. It's the year I moved to Leeds, so that was really exciting.
00:35It's been a good year. Can't complain. I've been ill quite a lot. It's been sort of annoying.
00:40But overall, it's been like a really good year for me. Yeah.
00:45Yeah, same. Well, we live together, so we met each other this year and moving to Leeds and moving to uni.
00:53The highlight would be getting more involved with Leeds Dock Running Club, which is just down the road for me.
01:00Yeah, I was helping out with their Couch to 5K course, which was, yeah, good stuff. Gets you out of the house.
01:09I also joined a badminton, local badminton club as well, up by the university.
01:13So, yeah, just health stuff generally.
01:1520, 25, yeah, I can't really complain. I was looking after my mum and she's now gone to a care home.
01:22So, you know, dementia is a very sad, cruel disease, but she's well looked after there.
01:27So, and my grandchildren are growing up beautifully, so I can't really complain on that front.
01:34Now that I'm fully retired, 20, 25 has been a fabulous year.
01:39We got ourselves, when we lost one dog, that was a sad point, but we got a new one called Rocky.
01:44And he's now six months old.
01:47And it's hard to explain how much you can love something new in a year.
01:51So he'd be the highlight of the year.
01:53Obviously, next, followed by my family and my daughter.
01:56She was the last one of the three to graduate, and she took a different route to graduation,
02:01but she got there and she nailed it.
02:02So you're proud of them as well.
02:04I had one serious death in my family, and it's just, the year has kind of been,
02:10I wish, I honestly wish 20, 25 would restart.
02:16It was a great year for traveling.
02:18I have to go to Asia.
02:19And I moved to Leeds, so that was exciting.
02:23And, yeah, I love Leeds, so that's a highlight for the years moving to Leeds.
02:27Yeah, I think 2025 is the year of learning in 2026.
02:31I'm going to take all my lessons and apply then.
02:33It's been really good.
02:34We've had a month out of the country, two weeks in Gran Canaria, two weeks in Spain.
02:38My daughter started school for the first time.
02:41Getting my handicap cut in my golf, because now that I've retired, I can spend more time on it.
02:45Catching a ÂŁ30 plus pike last week was another highlight.
02:49And probably having the time now to travel and getting abroad quite a bit now.
02:55Now I've got the time.
02:56That's been a highlight.
02:57Retirement, I would recommend to anybody.
