36:15right well we went to birmingham uh for a bodybuilding expo and you were asked to represent
36:29some vendors and also perform some services so who would like to kick me off here i will leave you
36:36like yeah all right tell me what what you did then um so day one we had a morning meeting where i decided
36:42myself tom and rick we would be the product team and drive up to birmingham but you didn't put coyote
36:47in the i didn't know we did have a discussion all right so the service team uh sub-team leader was
36:54you wasn't it yeah myself yeah so we had a choice of three services first being massage secondly being
36:59photography and third being the spray tan and you ended up picking massages yeah the reason we chose
37:04massages we thought that the majority of the people walking around world would most likely what the
37:08massages it's also flexible so with a spray town you kind of have to do all or nothing with a massage
37:14you could do five minutes to 20 minutes so all right so you've gone up to birmingham now yes or you
37:20went to see the show where first of all we weren't too keen on that were we no you didn't want to try
37:25on the uh men's thong then i said i said if i had to i would that would have been a sight for sore eyes
37:32so next was the sauna right the only good thing was it stood out it was the only that type of product
37:38in the whole show so that was a good advice the guy had never sold any before at the show do you know
37:43it kind of appealed to quite a range you know professionals amateurs okay so we went to the exercise
37:50equipment vendor who was discussing price with the vendor it's mainly you i didn't get to that stage
37:56i don't know this year rick our time i know somebody was saying you know is that the lost you can go
38:00in particular he said that you he said you spent a lot of time cutting him down on price rather than
38:05interested in the product specification i asked initially about the pricing
38:11tell me what happened then we found out we didn't win the gym equipment and we had already
38:15decided the sauna stuff that's right yes okay all right right moving on from there then so on day two
38:24who was doing the massaging so it's us something current with one hand well i put you in the massage
38:30team um so quite quite innovative really yeah i was obviously limited to you didn't fancy challenge
38:37anyone to an arm wrestle up there then no i stayed clear of any of that i thought that it would be good
38:42for current to be there to to push the merchandise did you sell any of these things uh not those no
38:49i'm just trying to you know find out what you did really because even with this task you could have
38:53still done quite a lot in driving people in to your stand yeah and um i'd certainly tried my absolute best
39:02yeah okay so anyway we're on day two getting on to you lot uh now tell me what you did uh when you
39:09got on your stand selling the saunas so a lot of people did say to me that they were interested and
39:15they were going to come back and they didn't people at exhibitions you know do like to mess
39:19about they like to you know have a try of something but you've got to work out whether
39:23they are potential customers or not again we didn't want anyone to pass us by who might have had the
39:27money we can't judge a book by the cover really rick if you didn't sell anything unfortunately
39:30i didn't manage to complete the sale i came close on so many occasions sound like you couldn't
39:34give away prosecco on hen night honestly i didn't stop at there was i said i wanted everybody to
39:39sell something okay i think i got it let's move on so sabrina because of where you're sitting at
39:47the moment you're obviously the project manager so tell me how you split the teams up um so i asked if
39:53there was any preferences straight away the three girls said they wanted to go on the service side
39:57um and the two boys so they were very strong in sales and they came with me for the product side and
40:02sean you were made the sub team leader is that right okay you went for the spray tan you know
40:07there was over 400 competitors that might potentially either need one or a top-up i heard the first
40:11person you started spraying but they actually pointed out to you don't seem to know how to use
40:16the equipment isn't that right camilla i think that i was just obviously a little bit um hesitant at
40:21first but then as soon as i got going right so you get to birmingham you start talking to the three
40:28vendors of the equipment yeah i heard you gave the uh the vendors a good work out of their ears
40:35alex i want to try as much information as i could in case we were questioned by i mean i agree it's
40:40important to get information but it's the way you ask them and letting them speak rather than speaking
40:44at them i think they were really happy with all the questions i was asking them no that's not true
40:48what was the gym the gym man you asked them about insurance i wanted to make sure that all the
40:53the parcels that were sent out to buyers that was all insured what's that got to do with you uh
40:58parcels get lost that's his problem isn't it if it doesn't get there yeah he's got a claim on his
41:02own insurance anyway despite some of your questions alex you succeeded in getting the gym equipment
41:09didn't you yes well done okay so anyway we're on day two i understand that you started to panic about
41:17sales because you didn't make any is that right um so alex said that he was a very strong salesman as
41:22well as daniel unfortunately we didn't make as many sales as we wanted to and i thought it'd be
41:28interesting to change up the strategy bring over khadija so i expressed to sabrina when she said i'm
41:33going to potentially swap you and khadija i said look nobody buys at the start of the day really that
41:36all your sales will come in the last hour when they come back and find the cheapest products let's
41:40finish so i said let me stay here i will be able to sell these if you move me over to sell female
41:44products it's a bad swap but if the strategy isn't working then we change it up we don't keep going with
41:49something that isn't working let's let's stop talking let's look at some numbers and let's see
41:53what what actually went on so karen perhaps you'll tell me how much your team sold in equipment yeah
42:02typhoon gym equipment team sold 1369 pounds yeah and claude collaborative had sales of a high ticket
42:10item of 1389 pounds oh right so kind of level pegging really karen perhaps you'd give me the sales for
42:20the services well their services and additional merchandise sales were 269 pounds and 99 pence
42:27which meant total team sales were 1638 pounds and 99 pence right and claude same thing
42:34services and additional merchandise came to 503 pounds and 50 pence bringing up a total of 1892 pounds
42:43and 50 pence well done well done i have a treat lined up for you you're all going boxing with david hay
42:54yeah put up a good fight don't let your guard down and i'll see you on the next task okay thank you
43:02thank you the gym man i think he told you that he sells 10 of these things in a day or something
43:22like that so you couldn't have sold anywhere near that you'll need to go off and discuss this amongst
43:27yourself come back shortly and i will decide who is leaving the process okay

43:52arena what's up with the suit he broke his arm you've got sick note already come on let's do this
43:58let's go nice so again i'm absolutely over the moon like it was the best task for me to pm and the best
44:05treat ever i think we run this task because clearly us on the services team who made the majority of the
44:11difference the high-end team did free sales all day while we did like hella sales all day oh man i feel like i
44:19dodged a bullet i can't wait for the next task i'm going to pm it going to win it and then i'm going
44:24to make lord sugar eat those words one two one three one two one two one two one two one one two
44:28thank you all right signal you look so small
44:36in terms of the services why did you choose spray tan we'd collectively agreed to bring to say get
44:41something that's quick and easy to pick up i think you've got the wrong service if you had the right
44:45service we would have won this task daniel talks the talk but doesn't necessarily walk the walk
44:51he had the whole day there and he only sold two of the cheapest items your side had the best of the
44:57bunch and i can't fault our side in terms of effort and what we did of course i feel responsible in
45:03terms of managing the team but the sub team did significantly less in comparison to the other service
45:07team and ultimately that was the difference between winning and losing alex you didn't make any sales
45:13i didn't get a chance because i wasn't even there for the last hour of the day i think you did it
45:16very time if you would have stayed on their side 100 100 i had nothing to do with the loss of this
45:21task it is entirely sabrina's fault and the service team i'm not going without a fight here and i will
45:26win this process
45:28yes lord sugar send the candidates in please
45:40right well i start off by saying that you had the best product in the best place and the bottom
46:04line is you didn't exploit it the guy himself told you didn't he that he would expect you to sell 10 of
46:10them um so i was disappointed that we didn't sell more but that does come down to us selling as a
46:17team daniel what did you do i was kind of had a lot of energy throughout the day i think i've got two
46:22very good sales in the bag yeah and you sold them at the last price it was a difficult market i had to
46:27use everything in my power to ensure that i made the sale alex you say in your in your cv i stand out
46:35from the crowd well you did here because you're the only one who didn't sell anything yeah i can
46:41let me please answer that question the problem i had was i was really used as a scapegoat by moving
46:46across in the last time when it had no sales sabrina had no sales at the same time that i got moved
46:50over i personally believe i would have made a lot of sales at the end of the day i'm not sure whether
46:54you're made for this bodybuilding business john claude van damme was the muscles from brussels
47:00and i just have a picture of you alex being more like the squirrel from the wirral yeah anyway
47:08the demonstration you had the opportunity to go on the stage you asked this team to come and do it
47:15i asked what their opinion was and how they were doing did you not want us to go on stage to sell
47:20your products uh alex and daniel both wanted your team to go on my feeling was that we should go on
47:26because we had the bigger product but the thing is you should have insisted that these people went
47:32on there and talked about your products also i think i spoke at length and i actually had to
47:37try to advise you to do that and you should have been more bullish on that phone call i am the pm
47:41i spoke to the sub team they said that you did you want to go with what i'd said i said
47:45which was why you agreed and yeah so after you said you specifically didn't want to go up you had
47:50clients on board waiting to get ready tanned i said okay we can get up if we can show you sabina
47:56you just don't get it sell five of the thousand pound items your home and dried how many spray tans
48:03you got to do to make a thousand quid the penny didn't seem to drop all i can say is from my
48:09perspective it absolutely did drop and i relayed that to the pm and at that point it was largely out
48:13my hands right from what i understand you suddenly drew the curtains on your tanning booth and was
48:23concentrating just on selling these bits here um we'd not pushed on the merchandise much and we did
48:29manage to sell quite a few towards the end of the day which was um better than nothing but we were
48:35still mentioning the tanning but there was just not much interest you know the other team work all day
48:42long massaging and that's where they got their money you took 269 they took 503 as soon as i got
48:50there there was no option to sell the spray tank is that close that's what you saw the spray we didn't
48:54close it and we were still selling them spray you wasn't comfortable with selling the spray tank because
48:59you was a boy no one said to sell that that was a good salesman should be able to sell anything
49:05even if you consider it as a girl's project who's responsible for the failure of this task
49:10i personally believe i would have made a lot of sales at the end of the day but also there's
49:14problems on the service team you didn't need to sell anything we sold one rope we sold one rope the
49:19lowest value item you didn't sell the rope no no i said we i said daniel sold one rope at the start of
49:24the day and we had nothing until the last hour i was frustrated i didn't get the opportunity to sell
49:28a product i was working with all day who's coming back into this boardroom um on the basis that we nearly lost the
49:34product no sales are made i'm gonna have to bring back alex and on the basis that i don't think we
49:40had a strong enough service and minimum amount of sales we'll have to bring in sean right um you
49:47other three go back to the house okay
50:02i'm gonna have a word with claude and karen at least one of you is going to be leaving the process today
50:07okay so step outside and i'll i'll call you back in shortly thank you
50:21sabrina she's made some business mistakes she sent the wrong team to the stage she sent her own team
50:27they thereby lost the opportunity of perhaps a big sale yeah i mean we always know that the big ticket
50:32item wins through and i just don't know why she didn't grasp it i think she feels let down alan
50:37i mean she made the biggest sale of the day she kept her energy up all the time i mean she put full
50:41effort in alex is very lackluster isn't it i've been with him on two tasks and really he has failed
50:49on both of those i mean the thing is they've kind of made alex a bit of a scapegoat i'm not sure he's
50:54culpable for the failure of the task quite honestly sean she looks like a silent assassin to me she sits
51:01very quiet very focused i've watched her closely and i like her but i have to tell you alan she
51:07let herself down from my observation i think she's cruising so far cruising in what sense i don't think
51:13she's really working to her full potential well let's get them back in again and i'll decide which
51:18one of them is going to be leaving today yes lord sugar can you send the three of them in please yes lord sugar
51:31all right uh sabrina why should you remain in this process in general i was my very very hard worker
51:44if i've got an entrepreneurial drive within me i'm the only female under 30 that i know of
51:48who does something similar to what i do only what female under 30 what second he does what i do in terms
51:54of my events and tennis oh okay well um in terms of my business it's got to the point where it's
52:00expanding very very quickly and i can't actually keep up with the demand and i feel like this is
52:04a business that i can really really bring forward what was the question because i don't know i don't
52:09know i don't know i've come i'm breathing for her actually why should you remain in this process
52:14that's what i asked you um in this particular task i was a person who was able to secure the right
52:20product i made the most amount of sales within the team i feel like the decision of going with
52:25the tanning product was a mistake from the service side the fault is with me because we went with
52:30spray tan over photography realistically a majority of the reason why i didn't feel the task is because
52:35of the services yeah i think the problem is that alex made no sales and you guys had a high-end
52:39product that you didn't sell enough of when i came across you and you said to stop using the spray
52:43wait a minute alex the guy had said that he could sell 10 in a day when you were doing your sales
52:47he stopped selling this but you stopped spelling the town in the end you went to the easy
52:51let me finish sabrina there was three professional sales people business people and you managed to
52:57sell how many four you managed to sell how many alex no because i was moved across exactly you cannot
53:02say this is my fault you didn't sell a thing alex because i didn't get the opportunity to spray
53:06times when i moved across i was told you forget the spray tans just stick to the product do you think
53:10we've closed that's the reason we failed the task really we lost by 20 pounds on our side and you
53:15guys lost by 250 pounds sabrina are you we lost by 20 bucks alex made no sales because i didn't get
53:22the opportunity the next task and i will win it you can say excuse me we don't seem to be getting
53:28anywhere here other than just uh screaming and shouting at each other look sugar i'm an extremely
53:34enthusiastic individual i've got a millionaire mindset you've got a what a millionaire mindset and i will
53:38prove that in due course and but i am a great salesman and i've sold you just got a couple of
53:42rollers and an exfoliator i had an hour to do so our highest margin item being the tanning was close
53:47when you think should be fired i think firstly it should be sean by this task i feel like i've shown
53:52that i'm a good businesswoman sabrina you can be loud and shouty and not get your point across
53:59alex i don't see what you've really done since we've been here you've not made any sales in this task
54:04and for me i don't understand why you're still in this process you made half the sales and you're
54:08the service team she made sales but there's nobody at least who made sales didn't make it okay i listen
54:12i i think i've um i think i've heard enough now i'm going to conclude and i don't want any interruption
54:19from anybody sabrina there was a fatal mistake made because you didn't grasp the fact that the big
54:27ticket item will win the day sean you didn't take as much money as the massage team and i'm wondering
54:36what what happened there alex um you say you're a good salesman but frankly i'm struggling with
54:47what have you done here we are on the fourth task and i'm struggling with it i will make myself pm for
54:52the next task i'll prove to you i will win it i make people pm well i will put myself forward to be pm
54:57i'm an exceptional individual and i know for a fact i can make you the most money this is what i do
55:02i'm a natural salesman i haven't been able to shine how can you tell me look me in the eye and tell me
55:06you're a natural salesman when you didn't sell any equipment i've been put in the wrong place at the
55:11wrong time you weren't put in the wrong place you were in the smack bang right place you was in the
55:18exhibition that specializes for bodybuilders with bodybuilding equipment i understand you can't
55:24i couldn't have set it up better for you completely understand how can you say you was in the wrong
55:28place at the wrong time and i'd like to put my way out of this well you've talked your way
55:33into this boardroom here and it's not done you much good alex you're fired

57:08manage to close a sale however um you won we won so yeah it's irrelevant
57:17i think alex is going yeah i've got a feeling lord sugar's gonna walk through that door and fire me
57:22as soon as we got into the boardroom her and alex basically ganged up on me
57:40so it was tough every single decision is absolutely scrutinized we need to up our game consider it up
57:47now 12 candidates remain the search for lord sugar's next business partner continues

58:10kind of looks like something i'd give to a four-year-old girl it all kicks off don't speak because you're just
