00:01Previously on Project Runway All Stars...
00:03Where do you think we're going?
00:04Oh my god, question!
00:06Welcome to my store.
00:08Timing is perfect to bring back an old challenge.
00:10Which one?
00:12Come on!
00:13Head to toe.
00:14I've never worked with denim.
00:16You've never worked with denim ever?
00:18No.
00:19Oh lord.
00:20The four of you showed up and showed out with your denim looks.
00:23She sold me.
00:24The winner is...
00:25Laurent.
00:26Rami, Brittany, Anna, and Praje.
00:31The look was not modern and it had way too many ideas.
00:35Rami, you are out.
00:37I just don't want you to leave yet.
00:39So I'm going to use my save.
00:49Fashion designer Christian Siriano.
00:52Journalist Elaine Welteroff.
00:54Fashion designer Brandon Maxwell.
00:56And editor in chief of Elle Magazine, Nina Garcia.
00:59Are looking for America's next great fashion designer.
01:03At stake for the winner.
01:04A quarter of a million dollars.
01:06Supplied by Pilot Friction Erasable Pens.
01:09A feature in Elle Magazine.
01:11And a career changing mentorship with the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
01:16This is Project Runway.
01:18All stars.
01:23Woo!
01:24Look at the redemption!
01:28I never in my life thought that Christian is going to use this save on me.
01:32Good morning, good morning.
01:33I was like ready to, you know, embrace the moment and just move on.
01:38The fact that Christian has given me this boost of validation and admiration for my work
01:42to give me a second chance gives me confidence.
01:45And I need that right now because I haven't felt that from the judges so far.
01:51Ooh!
01:52The vlog is hot.
01:53Christian sent us a tag.
01:54What?
01:55Oh my goodness.
01:56I just spit it out.
01:57What do you say?
01:58All right.
01:59He says, good morning, designers.
02:00Meet me at the Greenpoint Pier to find out about your next challenge.
02:09Hi.
02:10Hi, Christian.
02:11Hi.
02:12Isn't it gorgeous out?
02:13Yes.
02:14It's gorgeous.
02:15Your next challenge is one that all designers have to go through to make it to the finale.
02:21It's a Project Runway darling, the real client challenge.
02:26Yay!
02:28I love a real client.
02:29Got it.
02:30Holy .
02:31That was the challenge I left from last season.
02:34Maybe it's because I didn't watch Real Housewives before.
02:37So for the bottom, this is definitely giving me like a grandma vibe.
02:40Anna, your look was not appropriate.
02:43You are out.
02:45But in the real life, there's no problem for me to make an outfit to make my clients happy.
02:51Are you ready to meet your clients?
02:53Yes.
02:54Yes.
02:55All right.
02:56Here they come.
02:57Oh my God, is that Diddy?
03:02I wonder who.
03:07The captains and crew of Below Deck.
03:12This is amazing.
03:13What was that?
03:14You never seen the show Below Deck?
03:16Anna, you really got to get out more.
03:17We are talking about this show about a group of people that host different parties on the very super mega yacht.
03:26And then they go out and they turn the whole town upside down.
03:30Designers, please meet the OG of Below Deck.
03:33The stud of the sea, Captain Lee.
03:39Designers, as you can see, our formal uniforms need a serious update.
03:44I mean, it's boring AF.
03:48So take the 1800 style and bring it current.
03:51Yes.
03:52A little less Lee and a little more Z.
03:57Designers, you heard the captain.
03:59The formal uniforms need rescuing.
04:01They are all function, but no fashion.
04:04Your challenge, reinvent the formal white epaulette and black epaulette uniform for your Below Deck client.
04:14You have two basic colors to work with, black and white.
04:18But when it comes to trim, go crazy.
04:22And the epaulettes have to be there.
04:25All right. Designers, do you guys want to see who you're working with?
04:27Yes.
04:28All right. Carousel, I'm going to start with you.
04:31You have the honor of working with Z.
04:33Z!
04:34Oh, hi, Z!
04:35All right, Bishmi.
04:36You get Aisha to work with.
04:38Yay!
04:39Hi!
04:41Next up, Rami.
04:42Courtney.
04:43Courtney.
04:44Nice video.
04:45All right, Kato.
04:46You got Daisy.
04:47How's I?
04:48We made a connection.
04:50Rajay.
04:51Sandy.
04:52Yay!
04:55Brittany, you had Colin.
04:56Colin.
04:57Yay!
04:59Anna.
05:01You get Jason.
05:02Yay!
05:03And last but not least, that means Laurence.
05:05Yay!
05:06Yay!
05:08Designers, guess what?
05:10This is a two-day challenge.
05:12Yay!
05:14All right, designers, so you have 40 minutes now to brainstorm with your clients.
05:18I already got ideas.
05:19And remember, these are your clients.
05:22Work with them.
05:23Listen to them.
05:24But don't lose yourself.
05:25Yay!
05:26Good-bye.
05:27Never in my life have I thought that I'd be meeting the crew below deck, even though I've
05:31watched them on TV before.
05:32Let alone be designing something for Courtney.
05:35So I'm secretly kind of excited about this one.
05:39What do you, do you like skirts?
05:40Do you like, okay.
05:41Yes.
05:43We are over this way.
05:46I killed the last challenge.
05:47Did you?
05:48I want that one.
05:49I want to kill this one too.
05:50Tell me everything.
05:51Like tell me everything about like what you do, your job description.
05:55Yeah, so this is to greet the guests.
05:56We do a lot of getting luggage on and off the boat for the guests.
05:59So it's an active kind of video.
06:01Yes, it's quite physical.
06:03So Z, let's just paint the picture of the moment.
06:06We can do anything we want.
06:07I like patterns.
06:08Yeah.
06:09A little bit flamboyant.
06:10Yeah.
06:11I like that.
06:12Great.
06:13I'm thinking if we did a shawl collar.
06:15I was an Air Force brat, so we traveled the world, lived in Germany, lived in the Philippines.
06:20My dad always went to these beautiful military balls in his dress uniform.
06:25I'm liking that.
06:26You like that?
06:27I'm liking that.
06:28So tell me what you're looking for.
06:31I'm the chief engineer on the boat.
06:32Oh, damn.
06:33So I'm in and out of the engineering.
06:35So black's good if I spill some like oil on myself.
06:38Versatility is really important as well.
06:39Versatility.
06:40Maybe a few pockets or something that we can keep whatever in.
06:43If you trust me, I'll take care of you.
06:44I 100% trust you.
06:45Okay.
06:46Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:47Don't look at the sketch.
06:48What's your rank?
06:49I'm a chief officer.
06:50Oh.
06:51Watch the sale.
06:52Make sure that it goes up into the pre-feeder.
06:54So as we're very mobile, we're always leaning down, picking up stuff.
06:58So what do you guys carry around?
06:59Like you have a radio?
07:00Just a radio.
07:01Yeah, that's what we carry around.
07:02And you clip it?
07:03Yeah, I just clip it onto the boat normally.
07:04For sure.
07:05And I just think, I don't know man.
07:06I just think a jumpsuit would be dope.
07:08I like the sound of that.
07:09Yes.
07:14So what do you like and what are you looking for?
07:16So I'm the chief stew.
07:17So basically I'm in charge of the interior and like all guest relations.
07:20So one thing that I would really like is somewhere where I can kind of hide a phone.
07:24Got you.
07:25Because now that I'm the chief stew, I'm always on the phone messaging provisioners.
07:28Got you.
07:29I want to look professional but I also want something that will show off the female form.
07:33It's not looking like a good tip.
07:35Oh.
07:36Now you tell me kind of what you like.
07:39Something definitely kind of flattering.
07:41Like I think a lot of the uniforms for women are.
07:43Mm-hmm.
07:44They're not.
07:45They're boxy.
07:46Yeah.
07:47Yeah.
07:48I like the idea of you have a great figure.
07:49So just showing off your waist a little bit more and maybe accentuating it.
07:52I would like to know your daily activities.
07:54I'm pretty active as a captain.
07:56So I'm out and about with the crew.
07:58You need loose, light material.
08:01Okay, loose.
08:02Do you have to have two pieces or you can have like one piece like?
08:06Yeah, we could have one piece.
08:08And I live in Bali now.
08:09I think we should.
08:10I like bling.
08:12I would change where you wear a belt because I like bling on the belt.
08:17Right off the bat, Captain Cindy is saying she wants to add bling.
08:23So I was thinking maybe on one of the sleeves, we build this stripe going all the way up here
08:30and then it gets smaller here and then it gets to the color.
08:33I feel like a twin.
08:34And then recreate that.
08:35Like that's how we bring in the bling.
08:37He's going to get Brian.
08:38You ain't going to tell me?
08:39No!
08:40Oh, he's going to show you.
08:41I'm going to close my butt just in case.
08:43I haven't won anything yet.
08:45So I really want this so bad to prove to myself I can win this grand prize.
08:50We're competing now, so I got to make sure.
08:52Oh, we're competing now.
08:53Oh, okay.
08:54That's it.
08:55All right.
08:56Challenge I said to.
08:57Come on.
09:00Hi, guys.
09:05How are the consultations?
09:07Great.
09:08Good?
09:09Yeah.
09:10Awesome.
09:11Remember, functional.
09:13Functional.
09:14But fashionable.
09:15You guys have $400, 30 minutes to shop.
09:18All right, go.
09:23I need this in like black.
09:25For Aisha, I am creating a white collar zip up shirt paired with a black squirt.
09:32She told me that she's always sweating.
09:34She does not want to be hot above or below deck.
09:38I have this aha moment for me to use neoprene.
09:42Do you have something matched to this black?
09:44Captain Jason lives in Bali, Indonesia.
09:47So I'm going to make a kimono inspired jumpsuit.
09:51Fifteen minutes, you guys.
09:53This is not a normal shopping trip.
09:55I think that's it.
09:57Leather?
09:58Is leather functional on the boat?
09:59He needs a jacket when he gets out and takes the client, so.
10:03But a leather jacket.
10:06Perforated.
10:08Okay.
10:10Here's what I'm creating for Z.
10:12He needs to be able to move, but he really wants to make a statement.
10:15Track suit meets tuxedo.
10:18It is a track-see-do.
10:21Tuxedo.
10:22Attention all shoppers.
10:23That is time.
10:24Please be at the register right now, designers.
10:27Thank you, Moon.
10:28Bye.
10:29Thank you, Moon.
10:30I'm not getting paid enough.
10:32We're just quiet.
10:37Oh, my God.
10:39Quiet.
10:40I am good at what I do, and I've been working nonstop, different clients.
10:44Some of the great things that happened over the year, I opened my very own actually in showroom in Philadelphia.
10:51Come and visit.
10:52Make an appointment.
10:53Don't just show up.
10:54Cindy, she wanted rhinestones everywhere.
10:57Not happening here.
10:58But there are other ways we can play around with the bling.
11:01I'm gonna jump ship from that.
11:03A double-breasted suit with a double lapel at the waist.
11:08Cigarette pants with some pockets.
11:10And I play around with the epaulette with fabric that is black and white to create some sort of patchwork.
11:17I think I just want Colin to feel super confident.
11:21Engineers work below deck, quite literally.
11:24And then he's up at the top greeting guests.
11:26So it has to be something that's very versatile.
11:28I want to do a classic black button-up shirt.
11:31This utilitarian pockets.
11:33Okay, I don't think so.
11:34Mm-hmm.
11:35My client, Gary, is the first officer on his deck.
11:38And he wanted something flexible, light, washable.
11:43We came up with a jumpsuit and a jacket.
11:46It's a hybrid leather mixed with wool.
11:49What is this for?
11:50A jacket.
11:51Oh.
11:52Courtney is my client.
11:54Her position is deckhand, which is active.
11:57So it's important that she is comfortable, but at the same time that she's also fashionable.
12:02I'm thinking for a start as a pleated mini dress with shorts built in and a windbreaker type of jacket.
12:1015 minutes left.
12:11Whoa!
12:12Jesus.
12:18By the end of work day, there's still a lot of work to be done.
12:21Let's go, let's go, babies.
12:23I'm ready.
12:24All right, let's do it.
12:25I feel extra pressure now that I've been saved, and it would suck to be on the bottom again.
12:32So yesterday I was watching a video called Below Deck, but it wasn't like with boats and stuff.
12:37Okay.
12:38Just change the E in deck.
12:39Hey!
12:40I'm extremely nervous.
12:41The real client challenge involves real life people.
12:45You don't want to add all of yourself into it, and you don't want it to be all of your client.
12:50You just want to make sure it meets somewhere in the middle.
12:53She's falling off the starboard end.
12:55Hi, everybody.
12:56Hi, Kristen.
12:57Hi, Kristen.
12:58Is it smooth sailing in here?
13:00I don't know if it's smooth, but we're sailing.
13:02All right, I'm coming to see you guys.
13:04Rami.
13:05Hi.
13:06You're here.
13:07I'm here thanks to you.
13:08I really appreciate what you did.
13:09Yeah.
13:10I just want you to know.
13:11It was very heartwarming.
13:12Yeah.
13:13What a moment.
13:14It was heavy.
13:15It was very emotional.
13:16But also, look how fabulous.
13:17See?
13:18It's what you needed.
13:20She's got a little turmoil.
13:21She greets the guests usually.
13:23She also handles the ropes.
13:24She has to wear shorts under her skirt.
13:27It's a dress, but it's shorts in the back.
13:29Got it.
13:30I mean, the details are so amazing.
13:33Like this, the ventilation, all of the binding.
13:36The only thing I would think is that it could still be separate.
13:41A dress is a little restrictive.
13:43It is something that has to be functional and versatile as well for her.
13:47Yeah.
13:48I'm excited.
13:50All right, Bishmi.
13:51Hello.
13:52This is your client.
13:53Yeah, Aisha.
13:54She's always on her phone messaging people before they comment.
13:57So I thought it'd be smooth to add like an insert pocket for her so she can hide her phone.
14:02Yeah.
14:03And as far as the epaulets, I did like a little dedication to the stripes using two going down and one going across.
14:09I mean, I love it as a fashion moment, but I think functionality-wise, it might be a little revealing.
14:16She said she liked it. That's how she get her tips.
14:18If she's into it, go for it.
14:21Good plan.
14:22See you soon.
14:23See you soon.
14:24Goodbye.
14:25Bye, Prajay.
14:26So I have Captain Sandy.
14:28Oh, Captain Sandy.
14:29She literally wanted me to like bedazzle.
14:32She wanted something fun.
14:33Really?
14:34Oh, yes.
14:35What I wanted to do is to draw in the epaulet stripes down.
14:39It's a lot of look.
14:40You're taking a big risk here.
14:41I am.
14:42But it might pay off.
14:47Hi.
14:48Anna, you need to really explain this to me.
14:51Who do you have?
14:52Jason.
14:53You're wearing a kimono jumpsuit while being a captain on a boat.
14:58Yes.
14:59We are getting the inspiration from the Asian background because he's living in Bali.
15:04Oh.
15:05So that's why.
15:06Okay.
15:07It is not easy to get a chance to show your Asian background and Asian references.
15:12And I know I'm taking a huge risk.
15:15I'm nervous because that's a big decision.
15:18Uh-huh.
15:19Very different than everyone else.
15:21Right.
15:22But it better be finished perfectly.
15:24Okay.
15:25Good luck.
15:28All right, designers.
15:29Models will be here.
15:30Models.
15:31Your clients.
15:32Clients.
15:33Your clients will be here.
15:35Great.
15:36Oh, perfect.
15:3728 minutes till clients come in.
15:40Over and out.
15:41Over.
15:42Tell Prajay to mind his business.
15:44Over and out.
15:52Hi, everybody.
15:53Hey.
15:54Hi, Christian.
15:55Ready for your below deckers?
15:57Yeah.
15:58Yeah.
15:59Bring them in.
16:00Here they come.
16:01Anchors away.
16:02Wow.
16:03Good to see you.
16:04How are you?
16:05Do you want to go in the restroom?
16:07I'm not.
16:08I can just take it off here.
16:09Okay.
16:10Yeah.
16:11Sure.
16:12I'm being professional.
16:13So, yes.
16:14You can take it off here.
16:15How are you?
16:16Good.
16:17Cute.
16:18It's cute.
16:19Do you like the color choice?
16:20Yeah.
16:21Is that the short length?
16:23We're going to see in a sec.
16:25Uh-huh.
16:26It's pretty short.
16:27It's kind of short.
16:28It's very cool.
16:30Out of this.
16:31Oh, yeah.
16:32Yeah.
16:33Right?
16:34Yeah, I think so.
16:35That's totally your style.
16:36It is my style.
16:37You know me, eh?
16:38Yeah.
16:39Isn't that cool?
16:40It's Susie.
16:41He looks like a gladiator from behind.
16:43And he wears that hat.
16:44It just reminds me of when he did those strip teases on the boats for the guests.
16:47Yeah.
16:49It's very used.
16:50Spicy but with flavour.
16:52I love a fitting.
16:53How are you feeling so far?
16:55Me, good.
16:56Yeah?
16:57Yeah, I'm feeling confident.
16:58Looks cool.
16:59It's amazing.
17:00That fits so good.
17:01You would wear that?
17:02I would wear that.
17:03For our line of work, it's perfect.
17:04Can you go that way?
17:05Yeah, it's super rad.
17:06It's just this side is driving me crazy.
17:08Because it's not done.
17:09Uh-oh.
17:10This is it.
17:11It fits weird.
17:13I never make menswear in my everyday life.
17:17During my season, I had a male model in a tuxedo challenge.
17:22I blew it.
17:23You are out.
17:24But Christian was there to save me.
17:27You're gonna have to endure this a little bit longer.
17:30I need something.
17:32I'm terrified.
17:40You're gonna open the collar like this?
17:42I'll just recut the collar.
17:43Mm-hmm.
17:44To be a standard collar.
17:45Okay.
17:46You're gonna get there.
17:47Yeah, of course I am.
17:48I know.
17:49Oh my gosh.
17:50I really, really like this.
17:53Oh, thank you.
17:54This is so flattering.
17:55Isn't it?
17:56You don't mind all that leg out?
17:57No, I wanna.
17:58Oh, you want it?
17:59I'm trying to make tips.
18:01Maybe there's one other unexpected thing.
18:03Something.
18:04Like extra something?
18:05Yeah.
18:06Which one would you prefer me to wear?
18:08I kinda like those.
18:09Yeah, me too.
18:10I think that this length here for the shorts.
18:12Yeah.
18:13Is good.
18:14Yeah, yeah, yeah.
18:15It's still long enough.
18:16Yeah, I like that.
18:17So this is, is this a shirt or a jacket?
18:18This is a jacket.
18:19There's a shirt that goes under it.
18:20It is?
18:21Practical.
18:22It's practical.
18:23It's freaking easy to take off.
18:24Freaking easy.
18:25Oh, snap.
18:26Oh, these are hard to walk in.
18:29No, I think this would be really, really cool.
18:31Sometimes I do come out and like serve a plate of food or something.
18:34Yeah, exactly.
18:35You never help me.
18:36I'm always out there.
18:37Like you always leave for hate.
18:39Yeah, exactly.
18:40Anna's from China.
18:41I live in the Philippines and in Asia.
18:44So I thought something a little bit Asian.
18:46I totally love that.
18:47Outside the box.
18:48Outside the box.
18:49Yeah.
18:50It's gonna be a last minute scramble.
18:51It's all, it always is.
18:52All right, designers.
18:54That's time.
18:55Say goodbye to your clients.
18:57I hear that they want you guys to have a drink with them later.
19:00Yeah.
19:01Yay!
19:02So that could be fun.
19:03But don't get wild.
19:04No.
19:05No.
19:06Nina does not like someone hungover.
19:08She doesn't.
19:09It's fun.
19:14You have a lot to do.
19:15Why?
19:16Oh, hell.
19:20I really thought this was gonna be stressful.
19:22People are gonna be crying.
19:24Like the Real Housewives.
19:25Is that what happened on the Real Housewives?
19:27Oh, honey.
19:28Really?
19:29They was crying all over these hallways.
19:31Remember I said like how I had like new boobies and a new butt.
19:34And I wanted to accentuate those parts.
19:36You made the girl cry twice?
19:39Housewives making people cry.
19:41Why?
19:42Because they didn't like their .
19:4430 minutes.
19:49All right.
19:50You better put an anchor on the back.
19:52I'm crying.
19:54Hey.
19:55Five minutes left.
19:56Five, five, five.
20:03Hey, y'all.
20:04It's time.
20:05Let's get some drinks.
20:07Let's get out of here.
20:16I made a jacket to go with the look.
20:18You too.
20:19Yeah.
20:20Here's to walking the boat tomorrow.
20:22Oh, hands on deck.
20:23Below the deck.
20:24Hey.
20:25Get out, Rami.
20:26Get out, Rami.
20:27Oh, do you want a tequila shuttle, sir?
20:28Yeah.
20:29Yeah, shall we?
20:30Okay.
20:31This competition is very stressful.
20:32I'm not going into a bar to do my homework.
20:33I'm going to a bar for shots.
20:34I'm going to a bar for shots.
20:35Can we get tequila?
20:36Yay!
20:37Yes!
20:38Woo!
20:39Show them how it's done.
20:40Yeah!
20:41When does the drag show start?
20:42Just kidding.
20:43If I drink, I'm just have fun, right?
20:44No one's looking.
20:45No one's looking.
20:46No one's looking.
20:47Okay.
20:48Okay.
20:49Bad divorce for today's.
20:50I want to party with you more.
20:51Okay, shall we?
20:52Yeah, we have to.
20:53Go get Hannah.
20:54Not me.
20:55I already told y'all.
20:56Okay, I already told y'all.
20:57Okay, I already told y'all.
20:58See you tomorrow.
20:59See you tomorrow.
21:00Yeah, what's fun?
21:01Yeah, yeah.
21:02That was so fun.
21:27Runway day.
21:31What a night.
21:32Four shots.
21:33No headache.
21:34Oh my God.
21:35I'm so glad I woke up sober.
21:37No crash on Gary.
21:39No drama.
21:40No.
21:41Let's shine on them hoes.
21:42Okay.
21:43All right.
21:47Yes, okay.
21:48Yay.
21:49Two hours before runway, we were literally rushing and getting stuff done.
21:52But I do think I am taking a huge risk with this look.
21:56Because the print may not translate so well.
21:59That's kind of why I'm freaking out.
22:02Hi, designers.
22:03Hi.
22:04Good morning.
22:05Good morning.
22:06Everyone ready to set sail?
22:07Yes.
22:08All right.
22:09Who wants their client?
22:10Me.
22:11All right.
22:12Here they come.
22:14Hi, y'all.
22:22Mm.
22:23How's the time frame going?
22:24Mm-hmm.
22:25How's the time frame?
22:26It's going to go very quick.
22:27Cool, cool.
22:34I'm going to pack it.
22:35Oh, .
22:36See?
22:37They're looking good.
22:38Look, I actually really like this.
22:41This look from Carason is definitely not giving uniform.
22:44Carason is always over the top.
22:48Designers, when you're ready, take your models to the makeup studio
22:51and the Tresemme hair salon.
22:55I just want a clean pony and then, like, right here.
22:59I want red.
23:00Exactly.
23:02Like a classic red, nice matte top.
23:05I love it.
23:06Thank you very much.
23:07Perfect. Thank you.
23:08Hey, designers.
23:10Y'all got our 30 minutes.
23:14You doing okay?
23:15Not really.
23:16No.
23:17No.
23:18You're going to make it.
23:19You're going to be fine.
23:20So snaps are kind of like one of my signature hardwares.
23:23But getting these snaps on is so complicated.
23:29Yeah, that's fine.
23:30Vishmi is, like, literally taking time out of his work time.
23:33Honestly, I have no words.
23:35Vishmi, you're such a good little brother.
23:37That's very sweet of you.
23:38Be careful.
23:39Be careful.
23:40Okay, let's go, Jason.
23:42Wow.
23:44Oh, that's dope.
23:45Yeah.
23:46Praje, hurry up.
23:47I think it's better with this cut bit.
23:49Yeah, I think so.
23:50I'm really excited about this one.
23:52I think this is going to be a really good redemption moment.
23:55Also, I'm excited.
23:56Look at this.
23:57So, let's see what the judge is saying.
23:59One minute left.
24:00It's almost a runway sign.
24:02Seconds away.
24:06That's time.
24:07Let's go to last look.
24:11I see a lot of threads.
24:12He look great.
24:13He looks so handsome.
24:15I can definitely see this captain in Bali.
24:18Whoo.
24:19All right, designers.
24:20That's time.
24:21It's going to be a gorgeous show.
24:23All right.
24:24Anchors away.
24:31Oh, my God.
24:33Oh, my God.
24:34Welcome back.
24:35Hi.
24:36Hi.
24:37Don't leave us again.
24:38I missed you so much.
24:39And I was on the phone with all of them like,
24:41what happened?
24:43And Rami.
24:44Yay.
24:45Whoo.
24:46All right, you guys.
24:49I am so excited to introduce you to tonight's guest judges,
24:54a below-deck legend known for her ferocious wit
24:59and five-star style.
25:01Stop.
25:02Former Chief Stew, the Kate Chastain.
25:08Kate Chastain is so amazing,
25:10and she knows what she's talking about.
25:12I'm so excited to see what you guys have created,
25:15because I know these yacht uniforms have needed a little more fashion
25:18for a long time.
25:20Also joining us is the winner of last season's Client Challenge.
25:24Yes.
25:25Every day.
25:26She knows her way around a yacht, y'all.
25:28Sonia, we got the yacht.
25:30We got the yacht.
25:31My yacht!
25:32We got the yacht!
25:33Countess Luann.
25:34Yeah!
25:38For me, it was so much fun
25:39strutting down the runway
25:40in Chantel's creations.
25:42All right, boo.
25:43Luann's in the house.
25:45She usually does not hold her tongue,
25:46but then she also does know good style.
25:49So hopefully this Countess sees a queen on this stage.
25:53Let's start the show.
25:54Yes!
25:55Whoo!
25:56Whoo!
26:00Whoo!
26:01Whoo!
26:02Asha looks like she's having a great time, and she is rocking it.
26:16The jacket looks amazing on her.
26:18The top is fitting nicely.
26:20With the anchor on the back.
26:21That looks cute.
26:22Go ahead, girl.
26:24Whoo!
26:25I made sure I checked off the checklist of all the things that Asha asked for,
26:31while including my own original aesthetic.
26:34She looks great.
26:39Whoo!
26:40Yeah!
26:41Whoo!
26:42Bad boys in the club.
26:44Gary just took me on a trip, man.
26:46I'm just having fun.
26:47As a uniform, it's functional.
26:49You know, a whole bunch of pockets.
26:50Fabric is breathable.
26:52Short-sleeved.
26:53On the belt.
26:54A little situation where he could put his walkie-talkie.
26:57So my client is good.
26:58Give him a little shoulder, Gary.
26:59Whoo!
27:00That hair flip was everything.
27:03I would never put anything out that is not a good representation of myself.
27:07This is pretty good.
27:08It is.
27:09I'm impressed.
27:14Yes!
27:15Yay!
27:16There she is!
27:17Looked great on the runway.
27:21She's showing all the right elements of the look.
27:24It still looks like Kato.
27:25It's still giving elements and small details on both pieces.
27:29I definitely feel like the construction of my work stands alone on this runway.
27:34Very fashionable.
27:35And function.
27:36Yeah.
27:37Fashion and function, yeah.
27:41Z looks like something out of the best James Bond thriller movie.
27:50It breathes well because it's all natural fibers.
27:53He has the shades.
27:54He has the utility belt.
27:56The pants fit him perfectly.
27:58Yay!
27:59I got the nail.
28:00And super excited and just honestly ready to see what the judges have to say.
28:09Warm dress uniform.
28:11She looks flawless.
28:22She looks clean.
28:23She looks chic.
28:24Stylish.
28:25And she looks professional.
28:26And I'm just living for it.
28:33I think that it represents my aesthetic and it's all about fit.
28:39It's professional but it's sexy.
28:41Right.
28:42The relief I feel is insane.
28:49Yes.
28:50Call it.
28:51Work it.
28:53Colin loves it.
28:54And that's what matters.
28:55It's a client challenge.
28:56And you do see my DNA in the look, then that's all there is.
29:00I can stand behind this design 100%.
29:03That's so good.
29:07It's a good outfit for working on the engine.
29:09I thought so too.
29:12Okay.
29:15Woo!
29:16Nice!
29:17Wow!
29:18This look is definitely fashionable and also functional.
29:21And Jason is really selling the outfit.
29:23And I'm happy that Jason feels great.
29:34Excuse me, Captain.
29:35I think that was to you maybe.
29:37Sure.
29:38He's very excited to bring some Asian ingredients.
29:41to bring some Asian influence into the show on the runway.
29:48Hey!
29:49Hey!
29:50Hey!
29:51Hey!
29:52Hey!
29:53Hey!
29:54Hey!
29:55Hey!
29:56Hey!

29:59Hey!
30:00Hey!
30:01Hey!
30:02Hey!
30:03Hey!
30:06Hey!
30:07Hey!
30:10Hey!
30:11Hey!
30:12Hey!
30:13Hey!
30:22it's so interesting when we have these sort of like equalizing challenges to see your talents
30:28come through i can't wait to find out who made who y'all look great thank you
30:40all right designers we've scored your designs one of you will be the winner and one of you
30:47will be out but what your client has to say is also very important to us
30:55so we'd like to speak to all of you all right rami yes let's get courtney out here
31:02didn't think i'd get to say that again and what a pleasure hi pleasure to meet you nice to meet you
31:13all right so tell us your job what your daily function is okay so i recently swapped to be a
31:19deckhand it's still going to be quite functional because i'm like helping get luggage onto the
31:24yacht it's quite physical sometimes courtney i think you'll agree i could definitely see this
31:28going straight on deck and being very functional and very fashionable it really does look like a
31:34uniform but elevated i mean i would i would see courtney and go oh my god we've arrived to the yacht
31:39it just looks so crisp and so elegant and professional thank you rami i think that you
31:48did a great job i thought that it was very functional i could see from the runway that it
31:53was something that was breathable i thought the skort was a very smart idea the tailoring is impeccable
32:00but my question to you courtney is can you still put this through the twerk test of course
32:09wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow so i was happy
32:17so i was happy so i was happy Rami thank you so much thank you thank you i mean you can leave the
32:19room thanks so nice to meet you okay should we get the next lookout
32:26hi again Daisy tell us what you do on the vessel what your day-to-day is
32:32I am Chief Stu, and I delegate jobs to everyone.
32:37So, do you feel like Kato delivered on what you asked?
32:41Yeah, personally, I love it.
32:43I love the color. I think that's, yeah, what we bonded over.
32:46This was actually in my top two. I really, really love it.
32:49I love it by itself. It gives me Bond girl vibes.
32:52And I really like the pop of neon. It makes it cheerful and modern.
32:56The neon was great because I felt like with the crew,
32:58with everybody wearing black, you don't know who's who.
33:01So, for me, being able to say, okay, well,
33:03this color represents these people, and this color represents that person.
33:06I loved the jacket. I really thought it was great.
33:09I don't know that the romper is that functional,
33:12and I think the epaulettes are such stars on the jacket
33:15that, like, it just feels like they're sort of taped on the body.
33:18There's something about the vest being sleeveless
33:21and kind of looking formal that I really liked.
33:24Mm-hmm. Thank you, Kato.
33:26Anna, let's bring out Captain Jason.
33:31Hello, everybody.
33:33Okay, Captain Jason, what do you need in your clothing to make your job easier?
33:38I need comfort. I need to be relaxed. I need to be cool.
33:41I live in the Philippines for the last six or seven years,
33:44so I think that aspect came in very quickly during our conversations.
33:49So, Anna, tell us about your design.
33:52As Jason just said, we are taking the Asian influences into the design,
33:57so we're taking the kimono inspiration
33:59and making something very unique but also comfortable.
34:02That's why I came up with the idea for the jumpsuit.
34:05I think that you definitely created a uniform that would be very cool and comfortable.
34:10While it's functional in that regard, the way the radio, when it's clipped on, kind of sags down, that's a bummer.
34:16He has very broad shoulders, and the epaulets are quite small and oddly placed,
34:21and I did feel like I wanted more authority on the runway from the captain.
34:27It didn't necessarily land for me as a believable captain uniform.
34:33What do you normally wear?
34:34Former will-do collar and tie.
34:36This is a big jump from the collar and the ties.
34:39Yeah, that's what we're trying to do.
34:40This is silk.
34:42It says silk and a silk cotton.
34:44I just feel like silk and sweat is not comfortable.
34:48It's just way to relax for me to find any authority here.
34:52All right. Thank you so much.
34:53Thanks, guys.
34:55All right, Bishmi, you're up. Here comes Asha.
35:01Come on, baby. Come on, baby.
35:04Asha, nice to meet you.
35:05Nice to meet you. Hello.
35:07So tell us what you do.
35:09I'm mainly in charge of guest service, so I'm running around, pulling for meals, making cocktails.
35:14What did you want in your look?
35:16So I really wanted something that looked a little bit sexy but still professional.
35:21Do you think you delivered?
35:22Definitely. I want it.
35:24And the whole look is neoprene, right?
35:26Yes.
35:27So tell us about the choice in that.
35:29For me, I love to be able to, like, hide the seams in the neoprene with an invisible zipper.
35:34On the back, I did a vent as well, so that she'd be able to breathe.
35:37Neoprene, how fantastic.
35:40It's windy. You get wet. That's perfect.
35:43Thank you, Nina.
35:44You know, if I'm getting on a yacht one day and a neoprene, at this age, with this stomach, that's my new swimsuit.
35:54I'm putting that on.
35:55I love the anchor part.
35:57The anchor is just, like, everything.
35:59Oh, thank you.
36:00This is definitely one of my favorites.
36:02Proportions of the epaulette shoulders, they're just a little extra big and just a little extra slit in the skirt.
36:08You just gave it that extra fashion that I was really dying to see.
36:13All right, thank you, Bishmi.
36:14Aisha, pleasure to have you here.
36:16You're amazing.
36:18Rajay, we'd love to talk to you next.
36:19Let's get Captain Sandy out here.
36:23Hey.
36:24How are you?
36:25Good.
36:26Captain Sandy, pleasure to meet your acquaintance.
36:29What do you need from your look and what did you ask for?
36:31I wanted flexibility, comfortability, and changed my entire look.
36:37But I wanted you to do you.
36:40In this experience, he's the captain.
36:42Prajay, I appreciate how you pushed the design.
36:45That being said, you know, I have to be honest here.
36:49It did feel a little costumey.
36:52And the pattern just felt more you, Prajay, and not necessarily for this challenge.
36:58The print makes it very distracting.
37:03I know you're fun, but I don't know if I like the pattern stuff.
37:07I feel like it's too much with the stripe, but that's just me.
37:10The first thing she asked was bling.
37:12So I was just like, okay, if you ask me for a bling, then we can get a little Prajay into this mix.
37:16You took the shape of the bar jacket, which is such a feminine shape.
37:22I love that.
37:23The sleeve is really beautiful that you cuffed and the epaulettes.
37:28I would have left it at that.
37:30Thank you so much, Prajay.
37:32All right, Laurence, let's get Gary out here.
37:39Okay, Gary, so tell us the day-to-day of your job and what you need out of your look.
37:44I work a lot with my hands.
37:45I work a lot with the guests on the boats.
37:47So what I was looking for my look is something that's easy to move around in, something that's lightweight, and something that's comfortable.
37:53And I'm very happy with it, especially the jacket.
37:55I think the leather jacket on a boat, to me, is confusing, but it's really well made.
38:01That wasn't really meant for the boat.
38:02It was more like when they, you know, and they leave to take the clients out.
38:06Party time.
38:07Got it.
38:08Can we see it with the jacket off?
38:09I know that you did a great reveal.
38:12What is the bathroom situation?
38:14Like, it's easy to take the romper on and off?
38:17I mean, so basically...
38:19This is not Thunder from Down Under.
38:24There's nothing wrong with the construction of it, but I just would have loved to see you push yourself a little bit more from a design perspective.
38:32I do agree.
38:33I just wish you would have added maybe a few more stripes.
38:38That's all you needed.
38:40I know.
38:41I just didn't.
38:44I think if you're to go forward, please do not be safe.
38:48Okay.
38:49You can leave the runway.
38:51Okay, Carason, here comes Z.
38:54Tell us about your job and what you need from your look.
38:59So I'm a deckhand on board.
39:01Something that we'll wear when we're greeting our guests, and then basically get into a daytime uniform, and then in the evenings we'll get back into this.
39:09For Mediterranean party season, this would be amazing.
39:14I thought there was too much going on here with the double-breasted detail and the gold zipper and the chunky lapel.
39:23I honestly have to agree.
39:25It's very beautiful.
39:26It just felt like for the wrong occasion.
39:29When I'm looking at the practicality of the challenge, it's very impractical.
39:33Coming from a military family and seeing what a dress uniform is from a regular uniform, it's two totally different things.
39:40This was for a special event dress uniform.
39:43Thank you, Carason.
39:45Okay, Brittany, you're up next.
39:47Let's get Collin out here.
39:48Yeah.
39:49Okay, so tell us what's the day-to-day function of your job.
39:55So I'm the chief engineer on the boat.
39:57I'm in and out of the engine room all the time, but I also help out on deck, and the idea of this was to have it formal enough to be able to be outside, but also practical enough to work in the engine rooms.
40:08For an engineering-appropriate uniform, this one would look very presentable in front of the guests, even during more formal dinner service.
40:17We understand immediately what his job is, right?
40:21It just looks cool.
40:22Yeah.
40:23I love that you were able to create something that was really fashionable, but really, like, nailed the challenge at the same time.
40:31All right, Brittany, thank you so much, Collin.
40:32Pleasure to meet you.
40:33You can leave the runway.
40:34Yay!
40:36Thank you, designers.
40:37We have a lot to unpack here, and we will talk to you soon.
40:46All right, this was not an easy task.
40:49I think there were really three designers that stood above the rest.
40:52It was Rami, Brittany, and Vishmi.
40:55And now the fight begins.
40:58Who wants to start?
40:59Vishmi almost did the impossible.
41:01Like, we want to wear that outfit on the street.
41:03I want to go back into yachting and wear it.
41:05I just feel like that look was so crisp.
41:07You know, she looked so professional.
41:09It looked elevated.
41:10It felt luxe.
41:12It was classic, yet fashion-forward.
41:15Right.
41:16He used the most interesting fabrication of anybody on the runway tonight.
41:21But can we talk about Rami, who was voted off last week, got the Siriano save, and is on the top this week.
41:29His client, Courtney, seemed really happy with her look.
41:32This uniform could go on a yacht right now and work and work well.
41:36Rami's look was day to evening, casual to formal, and I love that skirt.
41:42I mean, we have to talk about Brittany.
41:44I mean, I loved the top stitching and the hardware, and I love how she is really finding this groove to where she can succeed in so many different hard challenges and still come through as herself.
41:56Brittany's contrast, top stitch, is what really made it feel designer to me, not just a coverall.
42:03She probably had the most challenging task because he has to be in something hot and heavy that really cannot be multifunction.
42:14I think she really solved the problem.
42:18All right, let's talk about Karasan for a second.
42:20For me, Karasan's look did not meet the challenge whatsoever.
42:24Full fashion, no function.
42:26Forget that Karasan's look was over-designed.
42:29Everything was tight, the shoulder wasn't where it was supposed to be, the pants were busting out.
42:35I mean, it was not, it was a mess.
42:37I was also confused because every week she reminds us that she's a costume designer and she loves dressing for a character.
42:43Tonight you have a real-life character, and this just felt so ill-fitting for his role.
42:48But I think another designer that we need to talk about is Anna.
42:53We have to.
42:54And her design.
42:55I think that the look did a disservice to Captain Jason, who seemed to really love the look.
43:00Yes, he really was.
43:01He said she gave him exactly what he was looking for.
43:04It just was a little flimsy and loosey-goosey.
43:07Right.
43:08And he looked a little too comfortable.
43:09I certainly am not sure that I want the captain, no matter where I am, to be chest out in a jumpsuit, being like,
43:15What's up, y'all? Come on board.
43:17The captain is the highest-ranking uniform.
43:22That's right.
43:23In a minute, you've got to know that's that person's title.
43:26This was very ambiguous.
43:29Talk about another confusing look, Praje and poor Captain Sandy.
43:33He did way too much.
43:34First of all, the shoes.
43:36The hat.
43:37There was just so much going on, and it was just all wrong.
43:40I mean, I was drunk on a boat.
43:42I think the biggest problem with Praje's look was adding that print.
43:46Yes.
43:47I love that Captain Sandy said to Praje, I want you to be the captain of the ship.
43:52But he sunk her ship.
43:53Yeah.
43:54Captain Sandy is cooler than this.
43:56Okay, so we know what we're doing.
43:57We know who the winner is.
43:58We know who's going home.
44:00Are we all in agreement?
44:01Definitely.
44:02Yes.
44:07Hey, designers.
44:08I just want to say we know how difficult this challenge was.
44:12We just want to say you did a great job.
44:14And most importantly, you made your clients happy.
44:19Brittany, Rami, and Bhishmi.
44:23You had our three favourite looks of the night.
44:28The winning uniform was forward-thinking,
44:31and it fully delivered on function while giving us high fashion.
44:37The winner is...
44:43Bishmi.
44:44Yeah!
44:47Your first win, Bishmi.
44:51Bishmi, your uniform was stylish, high fashion,
44:53and I really need you to come out with a line of neoprene trench coats,
44:57because I want one so bad.
44:58I got you.
44:59I got you.
45:00Seriously.
45:01Brittany and Rami, you're in.
45:03Congratulations.
45:04And Laurence and Cateau, you are also in.
45:09All five of you can leave the runway.
45:13After being the bridesmaid, I'm finally a bride.
45:16They let your boy win this one, and I felt like it was truly deserving.
45:20Bishmi, congrats!
45:21Yeah, baby!
45:22RAP!
45:23RAP!
45:24RAP!
45:25RAP!
45:27CARAZANT?
45:28Yes.
45:29RAJAE, and Anna, unfortunately you had our least favourite looks,
45:34and one of you will be out.
45:36Anna, the uniform was too casual for a captain,
45:40it lacked authority, and your fabric choice did not make sense.
45:45CARAZANT, we felt your look was over-designed and ill-fitting.
45:49and ill-fitting rajee the print you chose was distracting the look felt more like a costume
45:55than a uniform anna i'm sorry you are out
46:06you know we love you and you're so talented i just want to say new mom to new mom thank you
