It's becoming easier to do transactions at the Ministry of Works and Transport.
00:07
Next week we'll be launching a new online certified copy system where persons could
00:13
go online pay and receive their certified copy in the mail.
00:21
Applicants of the online system will have two choices
00:24
collecting at TT Connect locations throughout the country or delivery to the home or office.
00:32
The certified copy can be delivered to TT Connect locations across the country for a fee of $130.77.
00:42
A further breakdown certified copy $100, TT post fee $27 and a bank and convenience fee $3.77.
00:55
Or you can have it delivered to your home or office for the cost of $158.99.
01:04
That will be $100 for the copy, $55 for the TT post fee and $3.99 for the convenience and the bank fee.
01:14
Delivery time will be three working days in Trinidad and roughly four working days for Tobago.
01:21
This will take effect from next week and there's more good news.
01:25
Later this month the Ministry is going to launch its new online traffic payment system
01:32
where persons could pay the fixed penalty tickets online via scanning the QR code on a fixed penalty ticket
01:41
which will take you to the portal or going on to the website.
01:46
It of course comes with a minor cost.
01:49
There will be a fee of $2.75 bank fee and 0.8% value of the ticket.
