00:00The administrator of the Facebook page, Trio TT, is speaking out, shedding light on how a series of disturbing videos
00:07led to the rescue of a woman she believes was held and abused for years.
00:13Vicky Rampisat says she had known of the alleged abuser for some time, but it was a leaked video that
00:19forced her to act.
00:21How they beat this man and what they were doing to Mr. Randy Budhai and instantly my protective instincts and
00:29knowing what that woman is capable of and seeing that it was a joke in the manner in which her
00:39son and herself was beating Randy and carrying on.
00:44She says what she witnessed was deeply disturbing and pointed to a pattern of exploitation.
00:50Rampisat says she began reaching out, working with others like Edward Moody, to dig deeper into the situation.
00:57But she claims attempts to seek justice were initially frustrated.
01:01Because he went to the police station, they tried to persuade him not to press charges.
01:08They even hesitated and didn't want to write down his report.
01:12So he got discouraged and he walked away.
01:14The turning point, she says, came after another video surfaced.
01:19This time, the focus shifted to a woman standing silently in the background, known as Savita.
01:26I looked and when I looked at that woman, I could see fear.
01:30I could see trauma.
01:32I could see fright to the extreme that that woman is shaking.
01:38Again, that woman, I know if to run, that woman do not know if she should stand there or what
01:45is going to happen.
01:46From there, Rampisat says she launched what she describes as a quiet but determined effort to uncover the truth.
01:53And we started to move.
01:55We started to do silent investigation.
01:58We started to fill out the TTPS, the officers, and see what's going on.
02:04But she claims even then there was little response.
02:07No, police officer wasn't heeding our call, our cry for help for this woman.
02:13And that is when we desperately went direct straight to the Commissioner of Police.
02:21Fearing the woman could lose her life, Rampisat says that intervention proved critical.
02:25And that is when Mr. Guevara, Commissioner of Police, got involved and he sent orders immediately, him specifically, sent orders
02:38immediately, that police started to search for her.
02:42The alleged perpetrator turned herself in and Savita was eventually located.
02:47And she said to the police that she was being kept against her will.
02:55She was beaten.
02:56She has always been beaten and she has been brutally attacked, verbally abused, physically abused for that seven years.
03:06Rampisat alleges the abuse included extreme violence.
03:11Savita was burnt with a flat iron all over her body.
03:15Savita is, from what we know, allegedly sexually assaulted, sex trafficked.
03:23Savita was sprayed with bobspray on her face and then she was burnt.
03:30She was burnt in her private areas.
03:35And it just perpetuated.
03:37Savita was subjected to being, to hot pepper being inserted into her private area and left.
03:51She was jump kicked, beaten on her head.
03:55About her body, there are evidence of bruises.
03:59She claims the situation points to deeper systemic failures.
04:03Police failed the community.
04:08They failed Savita because they were manipulated by a monster and a woman who used sexual advances,
04:20used her body, used her beauty to get to these individuals.
04:26Despite the disturbing allegations, Rampisat says the focus now is on ensuring the victim's safety.
04:33She says Savita has since received medical attention and is being placed in a secure location as investigations continue.
