West Indies skipper Shai Hope was disappointed following the opening T20 loss to Pakistan in the USA.

He felt the batters should have rotated the strike better in pursuit of 179 for victory.
Transcript
00:01The West Indies made a poor start to the T20 series against Pakistan, losing the opener in Fort Lauderdale by 14 runs.
00:07It means they have to win the remaining two matches to clinch the series and to also redeem themselves following a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Australia.
00:15Windy skipper Shehope is urging his players to perform better in all departments of the game.
00:19More consistent performance in all three areas of the game.
00:23It's important for us to bowl well, feel well and bat well.
00:26Something that we haven't been doing consistently as a team.
00:30It's something that we certainly need to turn things around to get those positive results.
00:34According to the Windy's captain, Pakistan's 178 was a decent score, but it should have been overhauled.
00:41Hope feels the Windy's batters should have rotated the strike better when playing the slower bowlers.
00:45They've got some quality spinners in their line-up and you can see how difficult it was for us as a batting group.
00:50But also we realized how important it was to limit those dot balls because I think we had close to 60 dot balls.
00:57That was almost 10 overs of dot balls in the innings and we lost by 14 runs.
01:01So let's say we had 20 singles out of those dots, then it would have been a different game.
01:0518-year-old keeper batter jewel Andrew became the youngest West Indian to make his T20 debut in that match.
01:11Andrew made 35 as an opener from 33 balls and Hope expects the Antiguan to have a bright future ahead of him.
01:17He's a quality player. When you look at him, you can just see class.
01:23He's shown that he can play at this level. He's got the skills, certainly got all the shots that we can think of.
01:30But it's just about him getting better understanding how to go about his batting, building innings and just growing as a batter.
01:36And if he does that, I think he's going to be a legend in this game. He's a quality player already.
01:40The second T20 takes place on Saturday and the third on Sunday, also in Fort Lauderdale.
01:46That's to be followed by three ODIs between the two teams in Teruba.
01:50Vinod Narwani, Chiefs Expoort.
