00:00West Indies skipper Craig Brathwaite was a delighted man following his team's big
00:04win against Bangladesh in the opening test in Antigua. For him it was quite
00:08refreshing after the men in Maroon lost to England away from home and then to
00:12South Africa in the Caribbean a few months ago.
00:14A lot of learning would have taken place you know coming from England tour you
00:19know where we didn't win a Test match you know that was tough but I always tell
00:23the guys you know keep learning you know Test cricket is all about learning and
00:26you know coming from the last test you know against South Africa to here we've
00:31seen some improvement you know we've seen unfortunately two guys didn't get
00:33to the to the hundred that they wanted but we've seen a hundred and that was a
00:38positive I think the more we could score hundreds the better it puts our team
00:42you know especially for us in this total so it was good to see good to get a Test
00:46win and we got to continue working hard. The West Indies went in with four
00:50specialist fast bowlers with all-rounder Justin Graves being utilized as the
00:54fifth and Brad Waite was full of praise for the way they got the job done. We
00:58have some quality some quality fast bowlers and I mean Justin Graves the
01:02follow-up as a fifth seamer you know is a superb is superb for the team but yeah
01:07these guys have a lot of skill you know different skill sets you know Al Zari
01:11with the extra pace, Shamar when he's ready has a great deal of pace as
01:15well so it's it's a great attack and I look forward to you know what the future
01:19holds it because it will be it will be something serious for West Indies. The
01:22second and final test starts Saturday in Jamaica with West Indies requiring a
01:26draw or a win to take the series. Bangladesh skipper Mehdi Hassan Miraz is
01:30hoping for a better display following the defeat. In this Test match we had
01:34some lacking point obviously we didn't bet well in the first and second inning
01:41so we just we just focus on our batsmen and we just let's talk about how to get
01:48better. Following the win the West Indies have jumped to eighth with
01:52Bangladesh last on the nine-team World Test Championship table.
