00:00There was another aspect of the team that was talking about this small business and what a lot of folks look forward to in independence in terms of business.
00:09But if I weigh business with security, then security will override business.
00:13So hence the reason why the majority did indicate that for security purpose-wise, we have no problem.
00:20The government knows what's happening in the space, and we don't know per se because it's a security concern, and we don't have any issue about it.
00:28Williams said the chamber held a management meeting on Saturday, and their main concern was the level of the threat that led to the cancellation of the celebrations.
00:39Most of the members indicated that due to the fact that it was a security reason why the parade had been canceled,
00:47so they were much concerned as to what is the security reason and the effect that it might have been to the parade was per schedule.
00:55Meanwhile, Alpha Lord, manager of the Mount Irvine Bay Resort, reported that the resort is enjoying a strong season.
01:03Despite the cancellation of the parade and the fireworks, he said occupancy has increased by 15 percent compared to last year, with average occupancy at 65 percent.
01:14Elizabeth Williams' amount of occupancy is showing a very strong august of 2025.
01:23Better than last year? You can give me some figures, like percentage.
01:27Relative to last year, I would say in the past three to four years, it's our strongest august.
