00:00Thank you!
00:30Hello, welcome to this new episode and this new movement.
00:37Let's start making another move to learn how to have other tools to keep moving forward.
00:45Before that, I want to ask you how you're doing, how's it going.
00:50Don't let go of practice, don't let go of action.
00:54Learn to take steps, little steps.
00:57Don't worry if you feel like you can't.
01:00The mere fact of having tried, even if you don't feel you achieved what you intended, is not the end of the world.
01:06You're moving, and that's already a huge advantage when you're in this state.
01:10Why? Even if you start slowly, you suddenly start to pick up the pace.
01:15And you begin to get into these movements that make for a beautiful and enjoyable dance.
01:21Today I want to talk to you about trapeze artists in the air.
01:25We're going to talk a lot about letting go and all that, and that's precisely why I want you to imagine these trapeze artists.
01:32They are holding onto a trapeze and swinging from side to side, and then they move to the other trapeze.
01:39and then they stand there on a platform they have or they jump from trapeze to trapeze and stand on the next platform.
01:46But there is a pivotal moment in all of this, which is the moment when they turn around to grab the other trapeze.
01:53That moment, that moment when they let go to grab the other trapeze, that moment when they seem to be suspended in the air,
02:02They are suspended in the air and it takes our breath away.
02:06That's what makes trapeze artists so attractive, because we all just stand there thinking
02:11Will he hold on? Won't he hold on? Will he hold on? Won't he hold on? Is he going to fall? What's going to happen?
02:15And especially if they don't have a safety net, it's a real spectacle.
02:19The reality is that when we let go, this is what scares us so much.
02:25This is what you say, let's see, I let go of this, I let go of this feeling, I let go of this idea, I let go of this hope,
02:31This dream, this illusion I've created, I let it go and that's what takes our breath away.
02:37It makes us feel like we're running out of air because we feel that for a moment,
02:42And it's a dangerous time; we're going to be left with nothing.
02:46This is the feeling, it's like bungee jumping, imagine bungee jumping but wireless.
02:51That would be crazy, wouldn't it? So, this is the part, it's letting go without knowing what's going to happen.
02:58having the idea that I'll be able to hold on, but also having the idea that maybe
03:03It's possible that it won't grab me and something might happen to me.
03:08The reality is that we live with the belief that we must cling as tightly as possible to what we need.
03:14that we should stay in what is known, cling to what is known.
03:20However, let me tell you that by letting go of possessions, plans, people,
03:25All this allows us to enter a new life, full of risks, full of freedom,
03:31Truly amazing, truly amazing, you're going to feel a wonderful sense of lightness.
03:37And where's the warranty? That's the question. We're searching desperately, look, okay, Sergio,
03:44That's great that you said it, and it sounds very nice, but the reality is, where's the guarantee?
03:48And it's because we desperately seek assurance that if we let go, we'll be okay.
03:53that we'll be able to grab onto the other trapeze and swing and reach the platform safe and sound.
03:59But the reality is that I must tell you there is no guarantee, there is no guarantee whatsoever.
04:04And although there's no guarantee that everything will be alright when you let go, there is one guarantee,
04:09Yes, there is something I can guarantee you.
04:11And what I can guarantee you is that if you don't let go, this isn't going to be alright.
04:15If you don't learn to let go, your flight will end, you'll end up swinging on the trapeze.
04:22And you'll be left hanging in the void.
04:23So, do we need a warranty? Yes.
04:27The guarantee is that if I don't let go, I'm going to get stuck and things will get even more complicated.
04:32So, what do I need to do? I need to make up my mind.
04:35And it's that guarantee that if I stay here, things aren't going to be okay.
04:40That guarantee is what motivates me to leave.
04:43C.S. Lewis said that to love, to enter into life, is to become vulnerable.
04:49That taking steps can often torment us and break our hearts.
04:54This man, a tremendous writer, who spoke in this way, says that we have the possibility
05:02to keep the heart in a chest, or rather it wouldn't be called a chest, it would be called a coffin.
05:07He says that of course we can keep our heart safe, and if it's kept there in that chest,
05:13In that tabernacle, then it will not be broken, in fact it will become unbreakable, impenetrable.
05:20But it will have become something else.
05:24It will have become something dark, motionless, airless, suffocating, which will definitely change you for the worse.
05:31That's the thing.
05:32Can you have your heart safe? Yes.
05:34I'm sure it won't change, but we want it to.
05:37We want it to improve, we want it to grow.
05:39These words, this same C.S. Lewis, say some very powerful words.
05:45He says, the only place outside of heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers of love is hell.
05:52In other words, outside of heaven, there is hell.
05:55You don't want to experience the blows that life deals, the blows that come from a life connected to people, to dreams, to all of this.
06:04Indeed, the only place outside of heaven is hell, and people who live like that are truly living in hell.
06:13So, get out of hell, keep following me in the clips and you'll know how to get out, how to break free from this.
06:21See you in the next one.
