Prison authorities are now investigating an incident that has been making the rounds on social media- showing an unidentified man tossing contraband over the wall of the Port of Spain jail sometime on Thursday morning.

00:13The man TV6 News understands from the Duncan Street area was captured by someone on their phone camera,
00:18tossing two bags over the prison walls early this morning before running off.
00:23Sources say that the packages thrown over the prison walls are yet to be recovered by authorities.
00:28However, prison's commissioner Carlos Carras tells the media that everything will be done to locate the contraband
00:36and that security will be stepped up around the jail so that incidents like these do not occur in the future.
