01:00:06us each week there is a lot of pressure on the troop now because there's so many
01:00:13elements that go into a live performance on Dancing with the Stars you have six
01:00:16personalities on the stage so everything has to tie together everything has to be
01:00:20in sync the professionals on the show have set the bar super high so it's
01:00:26exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time got the music for a new number in
01:00:32the beginning of the week we get our music after you listen to it like 400
01:00:36times then the creative process is starting and we can bring our routine to
01:00:41life we all get on great whether we're choreographing the routine or whether
01:00:45we're learning the routine and there's a certain amount of excitement that's
01:00:48going around and that's great to play off we're all open to each other's
01:00:54opinions because I mean you don't need six drivers per se but six opinions are
01:00:59better than one they could not have picked a better cast of characters I
01:01:02love them and I love this experience once the number begins to take shape
01:01:09that's when we get to work with the director on stage camera blocking is our
01:01:16director figuring out what angle he wants to shoot us at while we're doing
01:01:20our choreography on the floor you really got to be on your toes for any
01:01:23spontaneous changes and I like that pressure we have to make sure we're
01:01:28looking at the cameras at the right time because it's not just about the
01:01:31live audience in there it's also about the people at home show days can be
01:01:38crazy because it starts really early and then we're doing the makeup and hair and
01:01:43then we're doing lots of rehearsals the energy is insane dancing with such
01:01:49amazing pros on the show and being amongst the artist is such a dream come
01:01:53true coming from Ireland the people who are singing on this show and dancing on
01:01:57the show these are people I've only heard of before and they certainly aren't
01:02:01people that I expect to be in the same room with the first concert my parents
01:02:05took my sister and me to was a Backstreet Boys concert and now I'm
01:02:08performing with them on national TV in the second grade I was choreographing my
01:02:13own dance to one of their songs so it's really exciting to do it right now even
01:02:19though this process can be exhausting there is no other place I would rather
01:02:23be than on that stage every Monday and Tuesday night it's a huge amount of work
01:02:28to go out there and produce these routines every week but once you nail it
01:02:32you're super ready to get back in the studio and do this all again

01:06:36The results so far are four highest scoring couples are safe.
01:06:40One of our three remaining couples will be going home.
01:06:43We've reached that point in the competition when our stars have invested so much of themselves
01:06:47that to go home now would be a devastating blow.
01:06:51So here we are at the halfway point of the season.
01:06:53And, you know, I'm proud of all the work I've done and how much I accomplished.
01:06:57But I still, you know, I still have a lot more I want to prove.
01:07:01What this show commands you to do is unreal.
01:07:04It's insane.
01:07:06It is excruciating.
01:07:08Your choice is to either give up and go off the show
01:07:11or stay in the show with the intention of winning.
01:07:14I came here with no confidence at all.

01:07:20You know, outsiders saying this kid wasn't going to be able to do it.
01:07:24And I want to show all those people out there that I'm a contender,
01:07:28that I'm a winner, and I'm willing to put in the work.
01:07:31There definitely comes that point in rehearsal where you just hit a wall.
01:07:35Physically, mentally, you want to walk out, you want to go to sleep, call it a day.
01:07:39And I think that's when it's most important to really push through
01:07:43because, you know, that live show is coming whether I rehearse or not.
01:07:48I get frustrated sometimes,
01:07:50but anything you do is going to take a lot of work,
01:07:53and nobody can have it right away.
01:07:55The first day is hard, the second day is hard,
01:07:57the third day is hard, Sunday afternoon is hard, Monday morning is hard.
01:08:00All that matters is having it all come together on Monday night.
01:08:04Show day is a marathon, and it's the fear of the unknown.
01:08:08Everything I've been putting in, building up to this one defining moment.
01:08:12That's like Monday night football for me.
01:08:14Everybody comes out, everybody's all dressed up.
01:08:17You put on your uniform, your outfit,
01:08:19and you want to showcase the talents to the world.
01:08:21That feeling right before I take the stage,
01:08:24you may not believe this, but it's the most nervous I've ever been in my life.
01:08:28That's when it clicks in that this is real.
01:08:30This is a competition.
01:08:33The anticipation of going out on the dance floor
01:08:35is something I've never experienced before.
01:08:38And that's why at the end of my dance, I usually cry
01:08:41because I have so much adrenaline pumping through my veins.
01:08:44Bottom line comes down to 90 seconds that you get to perform.
01:08:49And for me, that's what I thrive on.
01:08:54You know, there's still a lot of competition left, but I'm excited.
01:08:58You know, this is like a battlefield, and I'm ready for war.
01:09:01If I get eliminated, something will have been taken from me,
01:09:04like stolen from me, ripped out of my hands.
01:09:07And I don't like it when people rip me off.
01:09:09I don't like when people take what's mine.
01:09:11And this show is mine.
01:09:13Everybody's out to scratch and claw to get to that trophy,
01:09:17and I'm one of those people.
01:09:19I hate to lose, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to win this competition.
01:09:23There's too much work and too much blood, sweat, tears, and pain, frankly,
01:09:29to not want to go the distance.
01:09:31It's as simple as that.
01:09:33This is what I live for in life.
01:09:35When it gets down to the wire where,
01:09:37oh, my God, it's all or nothing, it's all or nothing,
01:09:40that's when I really come to life.
01:09:44This whole process has been such a whirlwind,
01:09:48but in the best possible way,
01:09:51and I'm just not ready for it to end yet.
