00:00:14A great stonking hit!
00:00:16And others, not so much.

00:01:23Live from Hollywood.
00:01:25This is Dancing with the Stars.

00:03:14Last week, almost 23 million of you tuned in to see these 11 stars perform their first routines on one of our biggest premiere nights.
00:03:35Tonight, they have one more chance to go big before one of them goes home.
00:03:41None of them wants to suffer the first cut tomorrow night, so the pressure to perform is on.
00:03:47Every one of your votes counts from last week and tonight, so get ready to do your part for them.
00:03:53In the leadoff spot, the fighter who had to fend off some strong criticism from the judges last week.
00:03:59Can he come out swinging and win their praise tonight?
00:04:03It's boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard and his partner, Anna Trabunskaya.
00:04:12Last Monday, Sugar Ray did a so-so toe-to-toe with Anna in the Foxtrot.
00:04:18Out of hold, sugar and spice and all things nice.
00:04:22And hold, you turn into a ninja turtle.
00:04:25What's going on?
00:04:27This will take time, but I'm not easily discouraged.
00:04:31Exactly. He's a boxer for crying out loud.
00:04:34Now, we have the jive.
00:04:37What is the jive?
00:04:40How about my posture?
00:04:42Not as rigid as the Foxtrot. Yes, you can do that once more.
00:04:54This is a workout.
00:04:59My biggest struggle with the jive is that it's so fast.
00:05:06Are you all right?
00:05:07This is my first knockdown in dancing.
00:05:09I really want Ray to own this dance, so I'm putting in some of his famous boxing moves.
00:05:14Back and up.
00:05:17You know, the jive gives me an opportunity to really entertain the audience.
00:05:20Do you think it works?
00:05:22I think it works. It just has to look bigger.
00:05:24Yeah.
00:05:25Like big. Yes.
00:05:28I'm ready.
00:05:29For the jive?
00:05:31All of it.
00:05:32My strategy this week is simply to come out there with just combinations, pizazz.
00:05:37Last week was my comeback fight.
00:05:40This week, it's my rematch.
00:05:46Like that? Like that?
00:05:52Dancing the jive, Sugar Ray Leonard and his partner, Ana Trebunskaya.
00:06:03Do you like good music?
00:06:06Oh, yeah.
00:06:09Yeah, yeah.
00:06:12Yeah, yeah.
00:06:15Oh, yeah.
00:06:18Yeah, yeah.
00:06:21Yeah, yeah.
00:06:24Yeah, yeah.
00:06:27Oh, yeah.
00:06:30Yeah, yeah.
00:06:32Yeah, yeah.
00:06:35Yeah, yeah.
00:06:38Yeah, yeah.
00:06:41Yeah, yeah.
00:06:44Yeah, yeah.
00:06:47Yeah, yeah.
00:06:50Yeah, yeah.
00:06:53Yeah, yeah.
00:06:56Yeah, yeah.
00:06:59Yeah, yeah.
00:07:02Yeah, yeah.
00:07:05Yeah, yeah.
00:07:08Yeah, yeah.
00:07:11Yeah, yeah.
00:07:14Yeah, yeah.
00:07:17Yeah, yeah.
00:07:20Yeah, yeah.
00:07:23Yeah, yeah.
00:07:26Yeah, yeah.
00:07:29Yeah, yeah.
00:07:32Yeah, yeah.
00:07:35Yeah, yeah.
00:07:38Yeah, yeah.
00:07:41Yeah, yeah.
00:07:44Yeah, yeah.
00:07:47Yeah, yeah.
00:07:50Yeah, yeah.
00:07:53Yeah, yeah.
00:07:56Yeah, yeah.
00:07:59Yeah, yeah.
00:08:02Talk to the hand. Listen, you're one of my sporting heroes. Do you think I want to say
00:08:14negative things about you? I don't. Yes. I don't. It lacked refinement and any true dance
00:08:24quality, but the entertainment was fantastic. Thank you. Okay. Bruno? Sugar. It was definitely
00:08:33sweet and it was definitely pleasant to watch. The thing, what it is really, it was softer
00:08:39around the edges. It needs more punch, not in the hands, in the feet. It's all about
00:08:44the kicks and the flicks. It had to be compact, tight, and strong in the feet. And they were
00:08:49a little bit loose. Like sometimes it looked like you were stuck in a piece of gum. So
00:08:52you get rid of the gum, come back and kick it. All right. Now, Carrie-Anne, you seem
00:08:56surprised by Len's. Well, yeah. I mean, if I just watched your face alone, that was like
00:09:00borderline a 10. I mean, it was so entertaining. You're so engaged in what you're doing. And
00:09:04you're such a great, fantastic singer. But unfortunately, as a dance judge, I have to,
00:09:09in some ways, agree with Len. It was just a little stronger than I expected it. But
00:09:14I have to widen out and look at the whole body. And yes, the lower half just was a little
00:09:18bit spastic. It wasn't quite as sharp as we want. Like when you jab, I've watched you
00:09:21box. I mean, it's the most amazing thing. And it's so pristine. And it's so sharp. And
00:09:25it's so, like, crisp. We need a little bit of that in your footwork. All right. All right.
00:09:30Carrie, thanks. Okay, guys. Scores await over there. And remember, the judges' scores from
00:09:35tonight and last week are combined with your votes in both nights. So even if you voted
00:09:39last week, you have to vote again. You get 11 per phone line and per email address at
00:09:43abc.com. AT&T customers can text your votes. Message and data rates apply. Lines will remain
00:09:50open until a half hour after the show. Thanks, Tom. And Sugar Ray, you look like you were
00:09:55really enjoying yourself out there. The judges were pretty tough on you. How do you process
00:09:59that? Well, I processed it positive. I mean, I did my thing. I did as much as I could.
00:10:03I had fun. I enjoyed myself. It was great. That's what matters. You know, you're famous
00:10:08for your fast footwork. Are you going to bring that to the ballroom next week? Big time.
00:10:12Big time, for sure. All right. Let's get your scores right now. Good luck.
00:10:17Will the judges please reveal their scores? Carrie Ann Inabo. Six. Len Goodman. Five.
00:10:26Bruno Tomioli. Six. All right. That's 17 out of 30, which gives you a total of 34 out of 60 for
00:10:33both nights. How does that feel? Well, I work on it. You know what? I want big scores and I will
00:10:39do the hard work. Yes. All right. Well, you have the right attitude. And if Sugar Ray is your
00:10:43favorite, then they need your votes tonight. Every vote from last week and tonight's votes
00:10:47will count. Help them survive tomorrow night's first elimination of the season. Tom, good luck,
00:10:53guys. All right, Brooke. Thanks a lot. Who will your favorites be tonight? The answer lies in the
00:10:59full night of dancing coming up. Our stars have been hard at work to get it right because for
00:11:03some of them, the week was filled with challenges and some tears. Our second dance is the quick
00:11:11step. I'm assuming that's going to have to be fast. People are talking and we got to get this
00:11:17thing down. This is so frustrating. Everybody thinks I'm like that playboy, like sexy girl
00:11:28that's confident. And I'm like, I'm not that, you know. Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars.
00:11:43Our second week of competition continues with our second dance of the woman who impressed the
00:11:48judges last week. Carrie Ann didn't think she missed a step and Len, Mr. Talk to the Hand,
00:11:53said she held his interest from start to finish. Reality star Kendra Wilkinson and her partner.
00:12:05Last week, Kendra charmed the judges with a challenging cha-cha. Kendra, that was hard,
00:12:12ambitious choreography and you went for every step. I don't think you missed a step.
00:12:16Going out there, I was like this. It's hard to straighten your legs when you're like,
00:12:19uh. This week we have quick step, but we're going to work on getting rid of that tomboy inside of
00:12:25you. Are you ready for that? No. No. Do I look girly enough? The quick step is all about elegance,
00:12:33all about being a lady and all that stuff. And I'm not a lady. I need to shave.
00:12:41This is my biggest challenge. Five years being in the playboy mansion. I know.
00:12:46How did you even get in there? I don't know. I mean these, I guess. Slow, quick, quick,
00:12:52far, boom, boom. Cross behind. Damn it. This is so frustrating. But a little more
00:13:01feminine femme fatale. I am trying so hard to get these steps down, but Louis is on me at the same
00:13:07time about being a lady. It's just so stressful for me. Yeah, this is so cloudy. You're right.
00:13:12I mean, I'm like putting a dark cloud over this. You're stuck in your head. I'm like losing it.
00:13:18Relax. I don't feel beautiful, you know. I feel like a boy, you know.
00:13:29And everybody thinks I'm like that, that playboy, like sexy girl that's confident. And I'm like,
00:13:34I'm not that, you know. This is about so much more than dancing for me. This is about being
00:13:41somebody that I never thought I could be. Oh, man.
00:13:52Dancing to Quickstep, Kendra Wilkinson and her partner, Louis van Amstel.
00:15:12Oh,
00:15:34not at all.
00:15:36All right, we start this time with Bruno. Kendra is very tough being a lady, isn't it? It is.
00:15:48It takes a lot of hard work, a lot of time, and yet it has to look effortless, easy and natural.
00:15:55You tried your best, but you were very, very tight. You messed up your footwork quite a few times
00:16:00because you were trying so hard. Your lines went, you were hanging to him to do a line.
00:16:05That's what happens when you're having fun. Well, but the thing is,
00:16:09you have to have fun, but you have to portray a style correctly. And it's not for lack of trying,
00:16:16because it was actually very, very fast, but not very successful.
00:16:19Kerianne. Okay, you're really good at learning choreography, but at week two,
00:16:24I want to see more than just the choreography. I saw more than the choreography this week.
00:16:30I saw you take a step forward. There was an elegance. You started out that routine.
00:16:35There was a newfound elegance. Remember, Kendra, elegance is a state of mind. I think
00:16:40the choreography was a little difficult and very jam-packed, so we didn't get to see
00:16:44more of it towards the end, like letting you breathe into the movement. But I definitely
00:16:47saw it. So stay right with it and keep going forward. Thank you. All right, then, Mr. Goodman.
00:16:54Well, your posture was a bit hit and miss. Sometimes your posture was excellent. Occasionally,
00:17:00your chesticles were pushing into poor little Louis. I think it scared him a bit.
00:17:07I saw improvement in the movement throughout the dance. I thought you coped excellently well with
00:17:12the speed of the dance. And overall, I thought you did an excellent job. So well done.
00:17:18Head on over to the Celebriquarium, if you would, for your scores. Tomorrow night,
00:17:24we'll debut our brand-new Dancing with the Stars troupe, made up of some of the hottest
00:17:28young dancers in ballroom. Plus, we've got performances from our special guest, Chris Brown.
00:17:34And then, one of our stars of Season 12 will be eliminated. That and more on our results show at
00:17:409, 8 Central. Brooke. Thanks, Tom. So, Kendra, you're a self-professed tomboy, and yet we saw
00:17:46you crying in rehearsals. Why so emotional? You know, this is my first time in my life I'm really
00:17:51becoming a lady, so it is emotional. It is. It is. I mean, I'm used to playing softball,
00:17:57used to playing soccer, and coming out here dazzled up is different. It's new.
00:18:03Good luck. Let's get your scores right now.
00:18:06Ladies and gentlemen, the judges have their scores. Carrie-Anne Inaba.
00:18:11Seven. Lynn Goodman.
00:18:14Six. Bruno Tomioni.
00:18:16Six. All right, that's 19 out of 30,
00:18:20which gives both of you a total of 37 out of 60 for both nights. How does that feel?
00:18:25It feels better because at least we have a seven. We're out of the three sixes, the evil numbers.
00:18:28All right, let's focus on the good stuff. Now, if they're your favorites, they need your votes
00:18:32tonight to help them survive our first cut tomorrow night. Call, text, log on to abc.com. Tom?
00:18:39All right, Brooke. Thanks. We have a ballroom full of stars who are anxious to get back on the floor
00:18:44from the leaderboard bookends to everyone in between. They've got one more chance to impress
00:18:50before someone goes home. Next up, the Disney star who came out strong last week,
00:18:55Chelsea and Mark, who will dance live.
00:19:11Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. Last week, our next actress led off the competition
00:19:17with a routine that put her in a tie for third place. Had Carrie-Anne saying she has a lot of
00:19:22potential. Disney star Chelsea Kane and her partner, look, he's a mime, Mark Ballard.
00:19:32Last week, Chelsea and Mark galloped out of the gate with a promising foxtrot.
00:19:36You have to learn to control, but you've got talent.
00:19:4321. Let's go to Vegas. Three sevens. Let's not go to Vegas. Let's not go to Vegas,
00:19:48because we have to learn another routine in five days. Turn, turn. I was thrilled with the way
00:19:54that our foxtrot went, but if I want to do well in this competition, I really have to stand out
00:19:58from the pack. Nope, again. What did I do? You're anticipating it. Keep cool.
00:20:06Freaking terrifying. You're fine. I don't want Chelsea to be eliminated first, so I'm really
00:20:11going all out on a limb with the choreography this week. Pushing the boundaries, but it's still
00:20:14within the jive realm. I'm just giving it a bit more of an edge. I'm worried about your feet
00:20:19kicking me directly in the face. I'm not gonna kick you in the face. I'm not gonna kick you in
00:20:22the face. And if I do kick you in the face, I promise you promptly I will go get an ice pack.
00:20:28Okay? Oh thanks, that's really reassuring. Only Mark could get me to even attempt some of these
00:20:34crazy moves, but I really want to make an impression. Oh, I don't understand anything
00:20:38that just happened. I have a crush on your brain. I want your brain. That's a first. Usually my brain
00:20:47doesn't get a lot of compliments, but Mark, I think he likes the fact that I will do whatever
00:20:53he asks. You ready? Let's get this jive. Let's get this jive gown. I'm ready. No risk, no reward.
00:21:00I think this jive is going to be unlike anything you've seen before,
00:21:03and I know it's really risky, but sometimes you gotta just go for it.
00:21:14Dancing the jive, Chelsea Kane and her partner Mark Ballas.
00:21:29As I'm pacing the views in the church corridor, and I can't help but to hear,
00:21:34no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words. What a beautiful wedding,
00:21:40what a beautiful wedding, says the bride made to the groom. And yes, but what a shame,
00:21:45what a shame, the groom's bride is a whore. I chime in with a how don't you people ever heard
00:21:53of closing the door? No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of
00:21:59poise and rationality. I chime in, haven't you people ever heard of closing the door? No,
00:22:07it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of hope. Well, in fact, well,
00:22:14I look at this way, I mean, technically our marriage is saved. Well, this calls for a toast,
00:22:20so pour the champagne, pour the champagne. I chime in, haven't you people ever heard of
00:22:27closing the door? No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of
00:22:33poise and rationality. I chime in, haven't you people ever heard of closing the door? No,
00:22:41it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
00:22:50Chelsea and Mark!
00:23:01Your brains are great, everything else too.
00:23:06Okay, good reaction from our audience here in the ballroom.
00:23:13There we are.
00:23:17Okay, I love choreography like that, but there's a time and a place for it,
00:23:22and I don't think it was right now. Sorry, I wanted to see you do the jive. Chelsea,
00:23:29you have incredible potential, like you're one of the people I was really looking forward to
00:23:33see dance this week because you've got great, there's just something there waiting to come out,
00:23:37but in that choreography it was really hard for me to see your jive. There was so little bit of
00:23:41jive in there. Yes, in my judging contemporary dance I'd give you a much better score, but I'm
00:23:46judging the jive and I didn't see enough of it. Thanks. Well, you know, if I was sitting at home
00:23:51watching that on TV I'd say that was fun, that was entertaining, but I'm not. I'm sitting here
00:23:56judging a dance competition and a jive, and Mark, you know, once I see doors and things
00:24:02you're on a sticky wicket, and so it was. You know, it was too much messing about and
00:24:07larking around. There wasn't enough jive content. This girl, this girl has got fantastic potential.
00:24:15She's gonna go a long way, but not with dances like that. All right, Bruno. I actually liked
00:24:24the weird and wonderful side of it. Very creative, very magical. It was like Marcel Marceau
00:24:33desperately seeking Lolita in a clockwork orange. That's what I thought. Then there is the jive part.
00:24:39There was some jive there. Obviously, as jive goes it could have been sharper. You have to
00:24:44point your feet. You have to finish the movement. Yes, you have talent, and I cannot completely
00:24:50disagree, but I really, really enjoyed it. All right, thank you, Bruno. Guys, hang here for a minute.
00:24:55Chelsea and Mark will get their scores after the break, but what I really want to do is direct.
00:25:02And then the rest of the stars will have their second chance to dance for you and our judges
00:25:08before tomorrow's elimination. This week's training had its share of fun and excitement.
00:25:15I'm actually terrified of Cheryl Burr. I don't want her to yell at me. Oh, shut up. Go.
00:25:22You know, Mac's like...
00:25:24I feel like I'm catching a train. This week, main motivating factors
00:25:33explode land in Bruno's face with my fiery dance moves. Chelsea want me to be charming in this
00:25:38quick step, but I have no idea what that means. Just kiss that baby. Thank you. There is so much
00:25:45jumping around, all kind of shenanigans going on. It's a mess. Nobody needs to see all that.
00:25:54Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. Before the break, Chelsea and Mark danced the jive. Let's get your scores right now. Good luck.
00:26:10The judges have their scores. Carrie-Anne Inaba. Six. Len Goodman. Five. Bruno Tomioli. Seven.
00:26:20All right, that's 18 out of 30, which gives you a total of 39 out of 60 for both nights.
00:26:26Chelsea, how do you feel about the risks that you and Mark took with the choreography this week?
00:26:30You know, I think we knew if we were ever going to think outside of the box, it was going to have
00:26:33to be for the jive. And we're one of the youngest couples in the competition. And that's the point
00:26:38of being young, you know, taking risks and being fearless, even though I'm terrified now. Mark,
00:26:42talk to us about the choreography. Yeah, I think when you're watching it, I did style the arms
00:26:46different. But if we're going to, you know, talk about jive content, there was changes of place from
00:26:50left to right, stop and goes, various kicks and flicks, coca-colas, junk and sailors, an American
00:26:55spin. So there's plenty of jive content. And backing it up. All right, everyone, if they are your favorites,
00:27:01they want you to support them right now. Every vote counts tonight. You can call, text and log
00:27:05on to ABC.com. Help them escape tomorrow night's first elimination. Good luck, guys. Thanks, Tom.
00:27:12A little harder to get the whole judges smacked down when he was wearing that makeup. I don't know.
00:27:16Last week, now, Bruno said this star made him feel like he hadn't had that much fun with leather and
00:27:21PVC since the village people. Yes, what he said. It's WWE star Chris Jericho and his partner Cheryl Burke.
00:27:35Last week, with an energetic cha-cha, Chris proved he could bring his entertainment skills from the
00:27:40ring to the dance floor. Chris, the dancing beast. I tell you, it was sometimes unsteady, but always
00:27:50entertaining. I was so filled with nervous energy that I was afraid it might push me too hard, but
00:27:56I'm just excited that I was able to do it. And Cheryl doesn't seem like she's too angry at me.
00:28:00Not at all. You did it great. Seriously. Quick, quick, slow. I thought Chris did an amazing job in cha-cha.
00:28:06Now I need to tame the dancing beast so he's ready for a quick step. Quick and quick, slow.
00:28:10No, don't do that. My wrestling trainers were nothing compared to Cheryl. I think Cheryl could
00:28:15kick all their asses. Close your feet. Close your feet. You don't need to look to close your feet.
00:28:19Do you? No, I'm concentrating on what the hell's going on. I'm forgetting what I'm doing. I'm actually
00:28:25terrified of Cheryl Burke. I don't want her to yell at me. Tough. Oh, shut up. Stretched
00:28:33from like the chest. Chris's biggest challenge in the quick step is going to be holding his frame
00:28:40up. Your arms, your shoulders, all ready. You gotta just maintain it. Cheryl says that I'm the frame
00:28:46and she's the picture. So if I'm bad, then it's like the Mona Lisa being in a plastic frame. When
00:28:51this works, everything works. Okay. Because this is like your focal point. It's your frame. Good.
00:28:57So do it from the beginning. Make mama proud. Go. I want my frame to be sturdy, like it's built from
00:29:03oak from Denmark that the Vikings tempered in the 18th century. And a blacksmith named
00:29:09Gandor was a wizard and created the perfect frame. And that's what I want to be.
00:29:19Dancing the quick step, Chris Jericho and his partner Cheryl Burke.
00:29:34I got my man who could ask for anything more. I got daisies and green pastures. I got my man who
00:29:45could ask for anything more. Old man trouble, I don't mind him. You won't find him round my door.
00:29:57I got starlight, I got sweet dreams. I got my man who could ask for anything more.
00:30:05Who could ask for anything more.
00:30:09I got rhythm, I got music. I got my man who could ask for anything more. I got daisies
00:30:31and green pastures. I got my man who could ask for anything more. Who could ask for anything more.
00:31:02Good job.
00:31:23Let's start with the newly dapper Len Goodman. Chris, I'll take my hat off to you.
00:31:30Now, don't take this personal. I don't want to get in a headlock or something. But
00:31:36my expectation was, here we go, it's going to be a big lumbering lump plodding around the floor.
00:31:41But no, it was bright, breezy, light at foot, good frame. I thought you did a great job. Well
00:31:49done. Are my chesticles okay, Len? Your chesticles are magnificent.
00:31:53Bruno. Chris, I like a man that responds well to strict discipline. And the Dobby Matrix,
00:32:02he has transformed the beast into a gazelle. You were moving around, I just could not believe it.
00:32:09We even got that bum under control because his shoulders are there. The bum is in San Francisco,
00:32:15it's so big he doesn't know what to do with it. Is it? You were sensational.
00:32:19All I can say is I'm loving me some Chris Jericho right about now. That was amazing. Light
00:32:30on your feet, compact, great form, great style. I like the bum just where it was.
00:32:36And Cheryl will get what might be the best scores of the night right after the break. And then
00:32:41the supermodel who the judges said brought grace and elegance to a foxtrot
00:32:46attempts a fast-paced jive. We'll see her do it live.
00:33:02Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. Before the break, Chris and Cheryl danced
00:33:05a quick step. Let's get your scores. Good luck. Ladies and gentlemen, the judges' scores.
00:33:11Carrie-Anne Inabo. Eight.
00:33:15Lynn Goodman. Seven. Bruno Tognoli. Eight.
00:33:20All right, that's a total of 23 out of 30 tonight. Combined with last week's,
00:33:24you've got 42 out of 60. Now, we saw Cheryl being a little tough on you in rehearsals,
00:33:28but seems to be working for you. Do you respond well to tough love?
00:33:31She gets results. She's the dancing Yoda. She's like this master trainer who gets the results.
00:33:35I can't stop smiling. One, because I'm so happy. Two, because I got so much product in my hair,
00:33:39it's pulling my face back. But Cheryl is the best. All right, everyone, if they are your favorites,
00:33:44you need to vote for them right now. Remember, all of your votes from last week will be combined
00:33:48with tonight's votes. And of course, the judges' scores. Help them escape elimination tomorrow
00:33:53night. Good luck, guys. Tom? All right, Brooke, thanks. Next up, the woman whose first routine
00:33:58had charm, grace, and elegance, according to Lynn. How will this statuesque beauty do with
00:34:03tonight's heightened challenge of the jive? Supermodel Petra Nemcova and her partner,
00:34:10Dimitri Chaplin. Last Monday, Petra brought beauty to the ballroom with her Foxtrot,
00:34:20but the judges did have some concerns. I'm a little concerned next week. I think you're
00:34:24doing the jive, which is a real tough dance for tall people. Two, three, and four.
00:34:30The jive is hard for tall people. What am I supposed to do? Get shorter? No, smaller steps.
00:34:36Too big. Small steps. Doing the jive steps, it's been fine. It's the tricks, really,
00:34:41where it scares me. This is scary. I'm going to get you. I know it is. Go. You can do it. Come on.
00:34:47Right away, though. Right there. Oh, yes, yes, yes. You OK? OK. I just want you to get used to
00:34:54the feeling of falling down without being afraid of it. So all I want you to do is just drop down
00:35:02and up. The trampoline really helped me to get over the fear of tricks.
00:35:15There you go. We're getting somewhere. Now I am ready to be fearless in a jive.
00:35:19I'm not afraid anymore. Let's do it. One, two, three.
00:35:24Dancing the jive, Petra Nemcova and her partner, Dimitri Chaplin.
00:35:54Raise a little thing called love.
00:36:25She gave me high-cold fever, put me in a cold, cold sweat.
00:36:43And take a long ride on my motorbike until I'm ready.
00:36:44Raise a little thing called love.
00:37:10Petra and Dimitri.
00:37:15All right. Nice stuff. OK, Bruno, you start.
00:37:21Oh, my God. This girl can go from uptown girl to floozy at a drop of a hat.
00:37:28And they're both equally beautiful. I tell you what you have to do, my darling, is really work
00:37:33on your core strength, because that will help you with the precision and the placement. But
00:37:38your performance was great tonight. Congratulations. All right, carry on.
00:37:43Petra, you're just so stunning to look at. It's ridiculous. And your legs were great.
00:37:47Your kicks and flicks were really tight and sharp. I was really impressed because
00:37:50Len is right. It is very difficult for people with such long legs like yours.
00:37:54But I really am impressed with. OK, wait. No, actually, no. This is what I was going to say.
00:37:58Sorry, I got confused. What? I agree with Bruno. I'm impressed that I agree with Bruno.
00:38:02I think your core, you really have to work on. No, you do. You have to work on your core,
00:38:06because what happens is you get a little funky in the shapes. Yet you we don't want your shapes
00:38:11to get funky. You know what I mean? There you go. All right. Well, it's a fatal combination.
00:38:15Short skirt, long legs, bad technique. And but I must say, I must say she did it beautifully.
00:38:28Well done. All right. Three for three. Head on over there for your scores.
00:38:33Thank you. All right. No, that's all right. You were fine. Let's.
00:38:38All right. While she's kissing the judges, let's have a hand for the people who make
00:38:47beautiful music together, our fantastic band and our singers,
00:38:51all under the baton of our musical director, Harold Wehler.
00:39:00So tomorrow is our first elimination. Unfortunately,
00:39:03somebody has to go home. How much do you hope that that's not you?
00:39:06Oh, it's scary. It's definitely scary. And I know there's a lot to improve. So we just hope that
00:39:12we will have lots of supporters and people want to see us dance and have more fun and
00:39:17spread the joy with everyone. And we're starting to have fun right now. Let's get your scores right now.
00:39:23Ladies and gentlemen, the judges have their scores. Carrie-Anne Inabo. Six. Len Goodman. Six.
00:39:31Bruno Tognoli. Six. That's 18 out of 30, which gives you a total of 36 out of 60 for both nights.
00:39:40Now, you've seen them dance a foxtrot and a jive. If you think they have what it takes,
00:39:43then you need to give them your votes. Right now, every vote counts tonight. You can call,
00:39:48text and log on to ABC.com. Tom. Thank you, Brooke. Coming up last week's lowest and highest
00:39:55scorers. Can Psycho Mike redeem himself? And will Ralph stay on top? And up next,
00:40:01the couple who turned in one of the most surprising performances of last week, a cha-cha,
00:40:05the judges said, was the best of the night. Kirstie and Max, Quick Step, live.
00:40:11Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. It is your second chance to see all of our stars dance
00:40:28and to vote for your favorites before tomorrow night's first elimination. Up next, the actress
00:40:33who grabbed the number two spot with her crowd and judge-pleasing cha-cha-cha last week,
00:40:38TV and movie star Kirstie Alley and her partner, Maxim Shmerkovski.
00:40:46At last week's premiere, Kirstie's cha-cha took the judges by surprise.
00:40:53Your foot placement in the cha-cha-cha was the best of the night.
00:40:59Landing her in second place. I'm so happy. I just wanted an eight. I really did. I wanted
00:41:05an eight and then we got two and I was like wow. Our second dance is the quick step. I'm
00:41:11assuming that's gonna have to be fast. Go. I feel like I'm catching a train. The most challenging
00:41:23part of the quick step for me is just being quick enough. Eight and one. No, lazy. The quicks have
00:41:28to be quicker. Okay. You know Max is like quicker, quicker, quicker, quicker, boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:41:33That's... Watch forward, watch forward. God, I'm gonna shoot you. Do really skinny girls,
00:41:42your skinny partners, has it been hard for them too? Just as difficult as it is on you.
00:41:48Okay, I feel better. And you have to stop worrying about it. Somewhere along the line,
00:41:52I have to get confident with where I am. I've never been confident with where I was. Whether
00:41:56I was 114 pounds or 230 pounds, it's like come on. You can't, you have to find a place where you go,
00:42:04this is good. And I don't want to be dead when I say that. One and two. One wrong foot. Not that
00:42:11I'm counting, but I am. I figure every week with the dancing is about five pounds. You know and I
00:42:16have 40 more pounds to lose, so honestly I do have to make the finals if I want to reach my goal.
00:42:22You know what quick step is gonna mean? Quick step? Yeah, it's gonna mean 20 pounds at least. Yay, winning.
00:42:35Dancing the quick step, Kirstie Alley and her partner Maxim Chmerkovskiy.
00:42:52I came across a place in the middle of nowhere with a big black horse and a jerry tray.
00:43:04I felt a little fear upon my back, I said don't look back, just keep on walking.
00:43:13When the big black horse said look this way, he said hey lady, will you marry me?
00:43:22But I said no, no, no, no, no, no. Said no, no, you're not the one for me.
00:43:32No, no, no, no, no, no. Said no, no, you're not the one for me.
00:43:52I can't walk in there cause my heart's so sick of me, yeah, yeah.
00:44:01Big black horse and a jerry tray. I can't walk in there cause my heart's so sick of me.
00:44:12Kirstie and Max!
00:44:16That was, that was quick.
00:44:28All right, let's start with uh start with Kerri-Ann this time.
00:44:35You are so in your elements, I love watching you dance. You're so aware of your body,
00:44:43you're so in tune to every movement from the bottom of your foot to the top of your head.
00:44:46The connection between you and Max is going to be unstoppable, that was fabulous.
00:44:55There was a little trick up at the very end, but other than that it was fabulous.
00:45:02Most was light and fluffy, you lost energy near the end and
00:45:07there was there was a slight hiccup during the course of the performance,
00:45:11but it was good, but it wasn't great. Thank you.
00:45:19And don't worry about the weight, you don't need to worry about that when you got talent,
00:45:22because talent you have. I tell you, you started beautifully, very very very well,
00:45:28but the problem is you started to wilt a little bit in the middle and then you did a foot fault
00:45:33and you didn't kind of regain that energy that you had, but you can do it and believe in yourself
00:45:40and stop worrying about it, just come out here and do it, be yourself.
00:45:43All right, head on over there for your scores.
00:45:49Our Macy's Design a Dance performance is back with another chance for you to help us create
00:45:55a custom-made routine. Starting tonight you can log on to abc.com, Max Tripp. To vote for the
00:46:00dance style you want to see, we'll reveal your choice on tomorrow night's results show at 9
00:46:058 central. I think we're all composed now, Brooke. Thanks, Tom. All right, was the kiss
00:46:11planned or was that spontaneous? I think it was spontaneous. All right, let's get your scores.
00:46:17I was gonna do it, I was gonna do it, I was. The judges have their scores. Carrie-Anne Inabe.
00:46:24Seven. Lynn Goodman. Six. Bruno Tomioli. Seven. All right, that's 20 out of 30,
00:46:32which gives you a total for both nights of 43 out of 60. Yeah. You said in your package that you
00:46:37have a personal goal to lose, was it 40 pounds? Or 80 or something. Or 80. How's it going so far?
00:46:42Good. You actually have a double incentive to be here. I do, I have a double incentive. We just
00:46:47have to work hard. Everything that Lynn and the judges said, he's been telling me all week,
00:46:53where I die down in the end and so he's right. This is the toughest cardio dance, so you did good.
00:46:59All right, everyone, if they are your favorites, they want your support right now. Every vote
00:47:04counts tonight, which will be combined with last week's votes. Call, text, and log on to
00:47:08abc.com for Kirstie. Tom. No, you are, you're a little cranky. We're gonna check your blood
00:47:13sugar level during the commercial, aren't they? Coming up next, the man who has the distinction
00:47:17of coming in last on our first show with his second chance to redeem himself before tomorrow's
00:47:22elimination. Can he prove he should stay in the game? Radio personality Mike Catherwood and his
00:47:28partner Lacey Schwimmer. Last week, Mike's box trot fizzled, landing him at the bottom of the
00:47:39leaderboard. You've got to come back and really do a good job, otherwise it's the boulevard of
00:47:45broken dreams. Five, four, four. I love them. Yeah. Why'd you give these to me? To apologize
00:47:54for my terrible performance. Look, I'm gonna be honest with you. If I want to stick around on
00:47:59Dancing with the Stars, I have no choice but to do a lot better this week. It's jibe or die time.
00:48:04This week, main motivating factors, explode land in Bruno's face with my fiery dance moves.
00:48:16Rock, step, it's okay to bounce. It's okay.
00:48:19It feels more natural, doesn't it? A lot of times, I resort to doing goofy stuff in rehearsals
00:48:29because it's a defense mechanism. I am pretty scared. I'm a timid guy in a tough situation.
00:48:37Come on, bring it in tight for the real thing. I love the real thing. Yes. I love it.
00:48:43We have our fun during the jibe, but he's taking it super seriously this week, and
00:48:47I think he has a chance. Forward, side. Forward. Nice. Back. Those legs are great. Hold on. Hold
00:48:55on. Yeah. Do the toes and the fingers. Deliver. I'm gonna turn these embarrassing scores that I
00:49:01got last week around, and I'm actually gonna use them to fuel me to train harder to come in and
00:49:06jibe my you-know-what off. Len Goodman attempts to find his inner bliss. Mike and Lacey will
00:49:15perform their jibe after the break. It's all coming up live.
00:49:31Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. Before the break, we saw what happened when Mike and
00:49:35Lacey were training for tonight's routine. Now, let's see them dance.
00:49:39Dancing the jibe. Mike Catherwood and his partner, Lacey Swimmer.
00:50:09The boys are back in town.
00:50:39The boys are back in town.
00:51:10Mike and Lacey.
00:51:17Come on over here. All right. Now, stop. Let's see what the judges have to say. We will start
00:51:23with the charming Len Goodman. Mike. Yeah. Good news. Yes. It's better than last week,
00:51:28but don't get excited. I won't, because it's still a bit rough. You were flying about like a wasp at
00:51:33a picnic. It was all going on. Bodies flying everywhere. Bits and pieces sliding about,
00:51:38but I was smiling the whole way through it, and that's what struck me. Good job. Thank you.
00:51:43Bruno. Actually, Mike, I have to say, some moments, your kicks and flicks,
00:51:47especially on the sides, were very, very good. Thank you. Right on it. But all the moments,
00:51:53darling, not like a wasp. You look like a fly stuck on flypaper. You were kind of going like
00:51:57this. You have to. You can do it. Maintain it. Don't throw it away. All right. Carrie-Anne,
00:52:03do you have a bug reference you'd like to share? I don't have a bug reference. I do my own thing.
00:52:07But, yeah, when you were side by side, I was really impressed. Your technique was great. Your
00:52:11form was good. Your kicks were wonderful. But you have to think about the whole routine as a routine.
00:52:15I tend to watch you and think, like, he's like, section A, section B. Oh, got to get to section
00:52:19C. Like, you have to make it consistent all the way through, and a little lighter on your feet,
00:52:22and a little bit less turned in. Yeah. Yeah. They're happier. They're happier. And I know
00:52:28they're bringing scores. I didn't say anything. Tomorrow night's result show features one of the
00:52:34music's most talented dancers, Chris Brown, with two incredible performances. Now, as you can see
00:52:40from this exclusive footage from Chris in rehearsal, you won't want to miss it. Plus,
00:52:44we'll bring you the debut of our new Dancing with the Stars dance troupe and more at 9, 8 Central.
00:52:52Brooke. Thanks, Tom. Looks like another kiss was going on here. So, you're a rock music DJ. Did
00:52:57you feel more at home tonight with that song and your guitar? Yeah, yeah, totally. When I found out
00:53:01we were dancing to a Thin Lizzy song, I was really excited. It just feels a little bit more
00:53:05comfortable for me. All right. I'm out of energy, though, so I apologize. Okay, let's get your
00:53:10scores right now. Good luck. Will the judges please reveal their scores? Carrie Ann Inaba.
00:53:18Six. Len Goodman. Five. Bruno Tomioli. Six. All right, that's 17 out of 30, which gives you a
00:53:27total of 30 out of 60 for both nights. Were you hoping for a better score than that? Yeah,
00:53:32I mean, you always strive for success, and it's not harder to get better than last week.
00:53:37So, I mean, that's the only good thing about getting the lowest score is that really there's
00:53:41nowhere else to go but up. Okay, well, remember last week they were at the bottom of the leader
00:53:49board. So, if anyone needs your votes tonight, it's them. Call, text, and log on to ABC.com and
00:53:54vote for them tonight. Tom? Okay, there's a lot more ahead on this second big night of dances
00:54:01before our first elimination. Coming up, last week's leader, the NFL star who was hot on his
00:54:08trail, the talker whose dance didn't speak to the judges, and next, the rapper who was a delight.
00:54:14Romeo and Chelsea hit the floor when we return live.
00:54:30Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. Last week, this next man proved he can move,
00:54:35but the judges said he needed to focus on his technique. Let's see if he's taken their advice.
00:54:40Rapper and actor, Romeo and his partner, Chelsea Hightower.
00:54:48Last Monday, Romeo showed he has potential with a vibrant and playful cha-cha.
00:54:54Hello, Romeo. You have sex appeal for days. I mean, there was so much testosterone on the
00:55:00floor. I was like, okay. Yes, Romeo does have sex appeal. Yeah. All right, so our second week's
00:55:08dance is the quick step and... So it's like a sexy dance. So I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be close
00:55:12to you like this. Yeah, we're gonna be close. Super close? Super close. I don't have a problem
00:55:16with that. Quick and quick. In this quick step, we're playing like a 60s, 70s couple going to prom.
00:55:25And I am in love and fighting for the love of my girl, Chelsea. That's cute. Thank you. She
00:55:30called me cute. This is a traditional ballroom dance, so I want to see Romeo be romantic in his
00:55:36moves. Do more, keep your weight back on this back foot. Like those abs. Nice. Look at that,
00:55:43just kiss that baby. Chelsea want me to be charming in this quick step, but I have no
00:55:49idea what that means. I mean, I was born in the 90s, not the 1900s. Is that how gentlemen hold
00:55:55you? Yeah, but it would be a little bit more poised. Romeo needs to realize there's a big
00:56:01difference between flirting and being a gentleman on the dance floor, and I gotta teach him that.
00:56:06Part of being elegant is nice posture, nice and strong. As a man, you have to lead, you have to
00:56:11be the gentleman, so you have to look where you're going. Okay, that makes sense. If I could turn Romeo
00:56:16into the gentleman of the ballroom, I know we couldn't impress the judges with this quick step.
00:56:25Dancing the quick step, Romeo and his partner, Chelsea Hightower.
00:57:06You've been on and down. Tomorrow must be true. Nothing, nothing, nothing left for me to do.
00:57:36You're the one that I want, you're the one that I want.
00:57:55Romeo and Chelsea.
00:58:06Very nice, very nice. Come on over here. Not important what I think, though. Let's turn to them.
00:58:15Bruno. I tell you, Romeo, you are the one to watch. I love the transitions from cheeky, funny to sexy,
00:58:26cool. Yeah, you just went into many different facets of the dance seamlessly. Ease of move,
00:58:33great musicality. Yes, you can improve on the posture a little bit. It takes time, but you've
00:58:39got everything it takes to make a brilliant dancer work on it. All right, carry on. I agree.
00:58:46I mean, you definitely have a certain style when you dance that stands out from other people, but
00:58:51what I want you to work on, because you do have great promise, is your posture. Like when you're
00:58:54formal, I want you to be a little more formal, like Chelsea's been pushing you to try to do.
00:58:58And when you're funky and let loose, let it go a little bit more. I want to see the dynamics,
00:59:02because right now it sort of blends a little. I saw it. You saw it? Okay. Well, I didn't see it.
00:59:09That's right, Len. No wonder we've got global warming with you two, all the hot air coming out.
00:59:16That was the best dance of the night. I liked it.
00:59:23Wow. Thank you. And the British ice cap just melted. Romeo and Chelsea will get their scores
00:59:32after the break, and then the stars who gave us three of last week's biggest surprises,
00:59:37the football hero who can dance outside the end zone, the actor who shot straight to the top,
00:59:42and the big talker who danced too small for our judges. This week's training was full of challenges
00:59:47and confusion. Nice job. I just feel like I have to go like this. Why? Because of my boobs.
00:59:59Just keep it cooler towards me. Cooler than a polar bear's toenail. Huh? Pardon?
01:00:14Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. Before the break,
01:00:17Romeo and Chelsea danced a quick step. You ready for scores? Yes. All right, let's do it.
01:00:22Ladies and gentlemen, the judges have their scores.
01:00:25Carrie-Anne Inaba. Seven. Len Goodman. Eight. Bruno Tomioli. Eight. All right, that's 23 out of 30,
01:00:36which gives you a total of 42 out of 60 for both nights. Now, the story behind your dance is that
01:00:40you were trying to win over Chelsea's heart. Do you think you won it tonight? I think I won it.
01:00:45You know, I wanted to take somebody to prom. I didn't have that first dance like I wanted to,
01:00:48but us being the two youngest ones on the show, I'm dancing with the cause. I'm doing this for
01:00:52all the kids. I don't want them to be afraid to try. You know, go after your goals. Go out there
01:00:56and don't be afraid. If Romeo can do Dance with the Stars, anything is possible, kids.
01:01:01All right, good luck. Great job tonight. That was a nice song, by the way. All right,
01:01:05if there are your favorites, they want you to support them tonight. You can call,
01:01:09text, log on to abc.com. Use up each and every one of your votes every way you can. Vote for them
01:01:14tonight. All right, Brooke, thank you. Next up, the star who last week came in second,
01:01:20from the bottom of the leaderboard with her performance, the judges thought was timid and
01:01:24lacking in personality. Can she come back strong with tonight's Quick Step Talk Show host, Wendy
01:01:29Williams and her partner, Tony Domolato.
01:01:33I'm every woman, it's all in me.
01:01:39Last week, Wendy performed a cha-cha that left the judges wanting more.
01:01:43You definitely, you need to go way more. You are a bigger than life spirit. You need to
01:01:47unleash the beast. A 14 is fine, I'll take it, fine. I'll wear that, I'll lie on that
01:01:52sword and I'll be back next week with the quick step and a whole new outfit and we'll show you,
01:01:57right? That's right. Right. It was an emotional evening and an emotional flight home, but I
01:02:06listened to everything that the judges said and it's very important to me to be able to
01:02:10But I listened to everything that the judges said and it's very difficult being criticized,
01:02:14but I'm gonna do what they said and bring more Wendy to the table.
01:02:18Side, side, that's exactly it. Now run. One, two, three, four. There you go. Not bad.
01:02:25I just feel like I have to go like this. Why? Because of my boobs.
01:02:30I'm not comfortable doing that. Nobody needs to see all that.
01:02:34Skip, skip, skip.
01:02:36There is so much jumping around, all kind of shenanigans going on. It's a mess.
01:02:42Look at me. Actually, they're not bouncing. No, because they're good and I want to keep
01:02:46them that way. They're good. This is not the time to be timid. You haven't been timid so far.
01:02:52This is not time to start, so go for it. Okay. Okay, come on.
01:02:56There you go. Good, that's the one. Oh, Tony, this feels so good. There you go.
01:03:01One, two. I wish the judges could see what I see this week, because every day I've seen
01:03:05the powerful Wendy and she's going to bring it on Monday. Not praying. Boom. That's my girl.
01:03:10That's what they want to see. The judges said that I needed to bring more personality,
01:03:17so tonight I'll be back with a quick step. People are talking and we got to get this thing down.
01:03:24Dancing the quick step, Wendy Williams and her partner, Tony DiVolani.
01:03:54I don't give a damn what the people say. I'm going to do it my way, going to do it my way.
01:04:10I'm going to let it all out and do my thing. Boom, boom, boom and I bang, bang, bang. Boom,
01:04:16bang, boom, bang, bang. Boom, bang, boom, bang, bang. Do your thing, yeah.
01:04:25Do your thing. Let me see you do your thing now. Yeah, let me see you do your thing now.
01:04:38Yeah,
01:04:47boom, boom, boom, bang, bang, bang.
01:05:01Wendy and Tony.
01:05:17Nailed them with the confetti. That was great. Let's start with Carrie Ann this time.
01:05:24Thank you. That's what we wanted to see. We wanted to see Wendy Williams out of the dance floor,
01:05:28having a good time, showing a little sass, giving a little sauce. Thank you. I'm so happy for you
01:05:34because I know it's hard to overcome fear on this ballroom dance floor, but you definitely
01:05:38overcame your fear. You lost a little steam in the middle. I'm trying to breathe. I know,
01:05:43I know, but then you caught it back at the end and it rose up again. It was a little in the
01:05:47middle, just a little dull. It got a little low and heavy feeling, but then it bounced back at
01:05:52the end. Nice job. All right, well it was a little bit economical with the movement throughout the
01:05:57dance, but it's an improvement. It was better than last week. There you go. Bruno. Oh yes,
01:06:03you sassy mama, you can handle my laundry anytime. But it's good to see a little bit of you really
01:06:11are. You're gorgeous. You're starting to have some time, a good time here. Yeah, Lenny's right,
01:06:16he needs a little bit more movement, but it's a step in the right direction. That's the way to go.
01:06:20Thank you. Just trying to get the image of his laundry out of there.
01:06:26Tonight, you can log on to abc.com to vote for the dance style you want to see in this season's
01:06:32Macy's Design a Dance performance. We'll reveal your choice on tomorrow night's result show at 9
01:06:378 central. Brooke. Thanks, Tom. What was the story behind that dance, Wendy?
01:06:44Tony and I are married and we're really happy and I love him and we have five children
01:06:48and I dress pretty for him and I do the laundry, but I don't appreciate him flirting with other
01:06:52girls. Do I have lipstick on my teeth? No, you don't. Okay. And you've spoken a lot about the
01:06:57celebrities and dancing with the stars on your talk show. What does it feel like now to be on
01:07:01the other side? Nothing's changed. Turnabout's a fair game. I mean, you know, I talked about people,
01:07:08now people talk about me. It's not a big deal. I'm a big girl. All right, let's get your scores,
01:07:15well, my thing is I'm so proud of her because that quick step was very difficult choreography,
01:07:19so it's illegal for anybody over 40 to be dancing that hard.
01:07:27Ladies and gentlemen, the judges scores. Carrie Ann Inaba. Six. Len Goodman. Five.
01:07:37Bruno Tognoli. Six. All right, that's 17 out of 30, which gives you a total of 31 out of 60 for
01:07:43both nights. Tony, were you hoping for more? Well, yeah, absolutely, because I thought she
01:07:47did an incredible quick step. And you know what? The judges had their say, now hopefully the
01:07:52audience at home does theirs. All right, well, no one wants to rely on judges scores alone. They
01:07:56need your votes tonight. Every vote counts. Call, text, and log on to ABC.com. Vote for Wendy and
01:08:02Tony tonight and help them escape tomorrow night's elimination. Tom? All right, Brooke, thanks. Two
01:08:07of last week's most popular performers still warming up for tonight's routines. The NFL wide
01:08:13receiver who lit up the floor last week and the movie star who claimed the top of the leaderboard.
01:08:19Ralph and Karina will try to keep dancing in first place after this live.
01:08:25Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars. Next up, the actor who took the top of the leaderboard with
01:08:29a foxtrot that sent the audience to their feet last week. What will his feet do when he attempts
01:08:34the jive? Movie star Ralph Macchio and his partner, Karina Smirnoff.
01:08:43Ain't that a good time?
01:08:46Ralph Macchio and his partner, Karina Smirnoff.
01:08:53Ain't that a kick? Last Monday, Ralph's foxtrot brought the crowd to their feet.
01:09:04Earning him the top spot on the leaderboard. The crowd was amazing. We did that double turn and
01:09:11they just went, they just roared. And that was just one of those moments in my life and career
01:09:16that I'll never forget that, ever. What am I doing? I'm walking, but this is the knees. Jive is all about
01:09:25having fun and letting loose, but when you think, think, think, think, it's really hard to do that.
01:09:30And kick, five, no, kick. What the hell? Why am I off? So it's one, one, two, three. Now I'm doing,
01:09:39I'm doing ballet, but wait, I'm here. It just doesn't look right. I think it does put more
01:09:45pressure on the jive now that the foxtrot scored so well. And on top of everything else, I'm the
01:09:51dad of two teenagers, so I mean, let's face it now, I have to make sure I don't embarrass my kids.
01:09:58Hi. Hi. I wanted to get some honest opinions on the jive, so I called in the family. I know I
01:10:04could count on them to let me know if I, you know, suck. One, two, three, change, five, seven, eight.
01:10:16Before it started, I was like, oh, I'm really gonna have to critique him on this one.
01:10:21Surprisingly, it was better than I expected. Don't think too much. Like, obviously you have
01:10:26to get the steps in your head, but just have fun. I'm trying not to overthink things. I want to have
01:10:33fun with it, but I need to do the steps, and I want to deliver the character and make it a great
01:10:36performance, and all of a sudden I'm overthinking things, and we'll see what happens with jive.
01:10:47Dancing the jive, Ralph Macchio and his partner Karina Smirnoff.
01:11:03Like I do, nobody can do the, like I do, nobody can do the, like I do, nobody can do the, like I do,
01:11:13well don't you know I'm gonna shake right through, ain't nobody do it but me, nobody but me, yeah,
01:11:19I'm gonna fill it, I do, ain't nobody do it but me baby, nobody but me, well let me tell you nobody,
01:11:27nobody but me, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, nobody can do it, like I do, nobody can do it,
01:11:51Like I do, nobody can do the
01:11:54Like I do, nobody can do the
01:11:57Like I do, nobody can do the
01:12:00Like I do
01:12:02Nobody
01:12:04Nobody
01:12:05Nobody
01:12:07Nobody
01:12:08Nobody
01:12:09Nobody
01:12:10Nobody
01:12:11Nobody
01:12:12Nobody
01:12:13Nobody
01:12:14Nobody
01:12:22Ralph and Karina!
01:12:28Jarvin' it up!
01:12:33Okay
01:12:37That's, uh, offensive looking, Len Goodman
01:12:41I'll tell you what, because it was okay
01:12:43It was all a bit too gutsy, like
01:12:46It was, um
01:12:48Yeah, you overdid it
01:12:51You want to just bring it back a little bit
01:12:53You know, I know it's a jive and you want to really come out and impress
01:12:56But I think you attacked the dance a little bit too much
01:12:59And it got a bit frenzied here and there
01:13:01I like, hey, hey
01:13:04I liked it
01:13:05I liked it, alright
01:13:07It's just a bit frenzied
01:13:08Oh, shut up, okay
01:13:10Oh, wow, wow
01:13:12Wow
01:13:14You know, I've said it a couple of seasons in the past
01:13:16Fiber, man, fiber
01:13:19Brutal
01:13:21Ralph
01:13:22Yes, sir
01:13:23You have a huge, huge, huge likability factor
01:13:26And you have another ability, which is very rare
01:13:29You inhabit the character 110%
01:13:32Thank you
01:13:33But Len is right
01:13:34The jive requires extreme precision
01:13:37And sometimes, actually, your kicks were not as sharp as they could be
01:13:40You lost timing a couple of times
01:13:42I told you to watch those hands
01:13:44I told you before
01:13:45Sometimes you do throw them
01:13:47So there is work to do
01:13:48But obviously, you are very, very pleasing to watch
01:13:50I understand the reaction
01:13:52Alright, then, carry on
01:13:54It's true, there is definitely likability to your performance
01:13:56Because you dance very well
01:13:58But if you want to go further
01:14:00And people have stepped up their games this week, as you've noticed
01:14:02And we want you to continue to do well
01:14:04What you need to do is you have to be sharper
01:14:06You missed a few of your steps
01:14:07Because you're almost sort of like working at the level of 8
01:14:09As opposed to a 10 with every movement
01:14:11And I just want to see a little bit more sharper edges
01:14:13And stronger, like, hit, hit, hit
01:14:15As opposed to, it sort of just gets a little muddy
01:14:17But you are just so much fun to watch
01:14:19Thank you, thanks
01:14:21Alright, there you go guys
01:14:22Head on over there for your scores, if you would
01:14:24Tomorrow night, tune in to our first results show of the season
01:14:27To see some incredible dancing
01:14:29From our special guest, Chris Brown
01:14:31And also, from our brand new Dancing with the Stars dance troupe
01:14:34We are live at 9, 8 central
01:14:36After a special recap of all the routines from both weeks
01:14:39That's at 8, 7 central
01:14:41Brooke
01:14:42Thanks, Tom
01:14:43Come on over here, you guys
01:14:45Alright, let's get your judges' scores
01:14:47Good luck
01:14:50The judges have their scores
01:14:52Carrie-Anne Inaba
01:14:547
01:14:56Lynn Goodman
01:14:577
01:14:59Bruno Tognoli
01:15:007
01:15:01Alright, that's 21 out of 30
01:15:03Which gives you a total of 45 out of 60 for both nights
01:15:06Last week you were top of the leaderboard
01:15:08Did you ever expect to be there coming into this competition?
01:15:11No, no, I just, you know, we just poured it out
01:15:14We pour everything we can into each week
01:15:16And try to put it out there for 90 straight seconds
01:15:19So I'm just happy I was standing at the end of that tempo song
01:15:23Well, being in that top spot last week
01:15:25Did that put more pressure on you going into rehearsals this week?
01:15:28Yeah, certainly
01:15:29You know, you wanted that
01:15:30It was a very special evening
01:15:31I mean, I'll never forget that
01:15:33That sort of reaction from the crowd
01:15:35And hard connection on the stage
01:15:36So we just tried to recreate that again
01:15:38And we'll do it next week, too
01:15:39Alright, well, good luck
01:15:41If they are your favorites, they need your votes tonight
01:15:43To help them survive tomorrow night's elimination
01:15:45Judges' scores make up only half of the total
01:15:49And your votes at home make up the other half
01:15:51So give them your support
01:15:52Vote for Ralph Macchio
01:15:53Tom?
01:15:54Alright, thank you much
01:15:55Right now, according to what I'm reading here
01:15:57Ralph and Karina are in the lead
01:15:58I'll trust their math
01:15:59Last up is the NFL champion
01:16:02Who took third place last week
01:16:04With the sparkliest cha-cha carry-in
01:16:06Since she had ever seen
01:16:08Can he take over the lead with his quick step?
01:16:10We'll find out when Hines and Kim dance live
01:16:25Welcome back to Dancing with the Stars
01:16:27Last up tonight, the football hero
01:16:29Who last week earned some praise from Len
01:16:31Imagine that, praise from Len
01:16:33Who said, his bottom is the tops
01:16:35Which, of course, proves Bruno
01:16:37Has not cornered the market on Christmas
01:16:39Has not cornered the market on creepy
01:16:40It is Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward
01:16:42And his partner, Kim Johnson
01:16:50Last Monday, Hines made his teammate proud
01:16:52Scoring a touchdown in the cha-cha
01:16:56So who knew, under that helmet
01:16:58And all that football gear
01:16:59Was all of that
01:17:00You are just exuberant
01:17:02That's good, right?
01:17:03I was trying to flirt with her
01:17:04Were you?
01:17:05That's good
01:17:06Okay, quick stop
01:17:07Oh, hold on
01:17:08When I saw Kim first do the quick step
01:17:09I was like, oh my God
01:17:10Why did I sign up for this show?
01:17:12Okay, you've lost energy
01:17:13I can feel it
01:17:14You know, due to playing football
01:17:15And having a separated shoulder
01:17:17Or a sprained AC joint
01:17:18Or rotator cuff surgery
01:17:20My shoulders are very weak
01:17:21So to be in that posture
01:17:22For over a minute
01:17:23Is very difficult
01:17:24But I'm not going to make excuses for it
01:17:26I'm trying to become a dancer
01:17:27Not the football player
01:17:29I've been sleeping like this all night
01:17:36Considering, you know, this is elimination
01:17:37Week, the pressure is there
01:17:38To make sure we get it right
01:17:39You've got to have
01:17:40A little bit more control
01:17:41Yeah, I wouldn't
01:17:42You're like a jumping jack
01:17:43Just keep it cooler towards me
01:17:45Cooler than a polar bear's toenail
01:17:48Huh? Pardon?
01:17:49Kim and I are definitely
01:17:50From two different worlds
01:17:51She don't have a clue
01:17:52What I'm saying sometimes
01:17:53Baby, my dog is a barker
01:17:54You know what I'm saying?
01:17:58That was bark
01:17:59Oh, that was tight
01:18:00Yeah
01:18:01Pines has been teaching me
01:18:02Some of his slang
01:18:03I know
01:18:04What's up player?
01:18:05What's up player?
01:18:06What's up shawty?
01:18:08Let's fly?
01:18:09I think
01:18:10I think the fly's won
01:18:12Can you say
01:18:13Let's crunk this joint?
01:18:14No
01:18:15It's cranking
01:18:16No
01:18:17Let's get this crunked
01:18:18No more lingo
01:18:19Let's get crunked
01:18:20One more time
01:18:21Let me get this now
01:18:22Maintain that posture
01:18:23Okay
01:18:24If you don't
01:18:25You're in trouble
01:18:26For me
01:18:27I don't want to go home first
01:18:28So hopefully
01:18:29When it's time to dance
01:18:30That, you know
01:18:31I can go out there
01:18:32And posture it up
01:18:33What's up shawty?
01:18:34What's up homie?
01:18:35Yeah
01:18:41Dancing the quick step
01:18:42Hines Ward
01:18:43And his partner
01:18:44Kim Johnson
01:19:06To let me know
01:19:07You made it home
01:19:08Don't want nothing
01:19:09To be wrong
01:19:10With
01:19:11Part time
01:19:12Lover
01:19:13If she's with me
01:19:14You blink the lights
01:19:15To let you know
01:19:16Tonight's the night
01:19:17For me and you
01:19:18My
01:19:19Part
01:19:20Time
01:19:21Lover
01:19:23We are
01:19:24Undercover
01:19:25Fashion
01:19:26On the run
01:19:28Chasing love
01:19:30Up against
01:19:31The sun
01:19:33We are
01:19:34Stranger
01:19:35Day
01:19:36Lovers
01:19:37But not
01:19:38Knowing it's so wrong
01:19:40Feeling
01:19:41So right
01:19:53And then
01:19:54A man
01:19:55Called
01:19:56Irish James
01:19:57But didn't want
01:19:58To leave his name

01:20:36With ease
01:20:37And confidence
01:20:38I particularly
01:20:39Liked
01:20:40Some of the
01:20:41Fine details
01:20:42You put in
01:20:43The nifty
01:20:44Footwork
01:20:45The rond de jambe
01:20:46Going backwards
01:20:47Which is very
01:20:48Very hard
01:20:49And the chemistry
01:20:50With Kim
01:20:51Is simply
01:20:52The best
01:20:53How did you get lipstick
01:20:54On your chin
01:20:55I don't even know
01:20:56How that happens
01:20:57Carry on
01:20:58I think Emmitt Smith
01:20:59Just had to retire
01:21:00His little title
01:21:01Of Twinkle Toes
01:21:02Because you were
01:21:03Now the
01:21:04Twinkle Toe
01:21:05That was amazing
01:21:06Your posture
01:21:07Your technique
01:21:08Your hold
01:21:09The way you change
01:21:10Directions
01:21:11With ease
01:21:12And grace
01:21:13And control
01:21:14What was that
01:21:15That's technical
01:21:16That means I loved it
01:21:17That's technical
01:21:18Glenn
01:21:19Your frame
01:21:20Your frame
01:21:21Was terrific
01:21:22I've got to tell you that
01:21:23And it's a hard thing
01:21:24To maintain that
01:21:25But you did it
01:21:26You had good movement
01:21:27Around the floor
01:21:28I was very impressed
01:21:29Well done
01:21:30Thank you
01:21:31Do you realize
