Ghaziabad: Salon Worker Arrested for Spitting on Cream Before Applying It to Customer’s Face

A shocking incident from Wave City, Ghaziabad has gone viral after a 24-year-old salon worker was caught on camera spitting on cream before applying it to a customer’s face during a facial.

The video, recorded at Level Up salon in Sector 5, shows the accused Arshad Ali squeezing cream into his palm, spitting on it, and then proceeding to apply it to the unsuspecting customer's face. The 23-second clip was reportedly filmed by a colleague or another customer and shared on social media on Sunday, prompting widespread outrage.

Taking swift action, Wave City police registered an FIR under BNS sections 271 (negligent act likely to spread infection) and 272 (malignant act likely to spread infection). Ali, a resident of Aslam Colony in Dasna, had joined the salon just a week prior to the incident. He was arrested on Sunday night.

ACP Priyashri Pal confirmed that the police traced the salon using video evidence and identified the accused. The incident has raised serious hygiene and safety concerns.
