A shocking video from Agra’s Malpura area has gone viral, showing a police inspector slapping a young man inside a shoe factory. The 58-second clip, said to be from the Malpura police station limits, has triggered widespread outrage online.
According to police, a sub-inspector had gone to the factory in search of two warrantees when the youth allegedly stopped him, allowing the accused to flee. An argument followed, during which the officer slapped the youth.
Police are now investigating the incident and examining CCTV footage to verify details. Social media users have demanded strict action, saying such behaviour erodes public trust in the police.
