Faridabad: Married Man Brutally Assaulted by Girlfriend Over Refusal to Marry Her

In a shocking incident from Haryana's Faridabad, a married man, Gulshan Bajrangi, was allegedly assaulted by his girlfriend Gunjan and her family after he refused to leave his wife and children to marry her. Gulshan, a father of three, sustained serious injuries and multiple fractures in the attack and remains hospitalised.

Gulshan claimed he was in a relationship with Gunjan—a divorcee and mother—for the past seven years. She had been pressuring him to divorce his wife or even harm his family to be with her. He also alleged that he was held captive for five days, possibly drugged, and coerced into confronting his family.

The violence escalated when he asked Gunjan to return Rs 21.5 lakh. According to Gulshan, he was later lured to a temple where he was ambushed and brutally beaten by Gunjan, her parents, and others, including his own brother.

Despite registering a case, Gulshan accused the police of taking a lenient approach, failing to arrest any of the accused so far.
