A case of dangerous stunts involving moving vehicles was reported on the Delhi–Moradabad National Highway (NH-9) in Garhmukteshwar on Sunday night, where several youth's were seen risking lives by jumping out of car windows and climbing onto rooftops.

According to reports, the incident took place around 8 pm near the Brajghat toll plaza, involving multiple cars travelling from Delhi towards Moradabad. Eyewitnesses said the youth's were changing lanes at high speed, shouting from windows and sitting on rooftops, posing a serious threat to other commuters and pedestrians.

A video of the incident soon went viral on social media, prompting swift action from the police.

Taking cognisance, the police launched an investigation. Kotwali police station in-charge Inspector Devendra Bisht said that efforts are underway to identify the vehicles by tracing registration numbers through CCTV footage installed along the highway, along with the viral video.

He warned that those violating traffic norms and endangering public safety will not be spared. Strict legal action will be taken against the accused once identified.
