Will the Australians play two red ball Tests and one pink ball Test in the Caribbean this year?

Or will all three games be red ball matches?

With Jamaica expected to host the day/night Test against the Aussies in July, there are some issues with the lights at the moment.

This comes from cricket analyst Dr. Joseph 'Reds Perreira, who was speaking with TV6 on the matter.

00:00Having drawn the last Test Series 1-1 Down Under, the West Indies will be hosts this
00:06time around when Australia land in the Caribbean in a few months' time for a three-match series.
00:11And one of the matches is supposed to be a day-night fixture in Jamaica.
00:15Or is that the case?
00:16Well, there are some concerns about the floodlights being placed on time for the Sabina Park match.
00:22This comes from cricket analyst Dr. Joseph Retz-Pereira, who has been following the matter
00:26closely.
00:27The Jamaica board has been promoting the matches at Sabina Park with the Australian and West
00:33Indies as a pink ball game, day and night.
00:37The situation is that the lights have been paid for, but yet to arrive in Jamaica to
00:45be erected and to be tested.
00:47The St. Lucia-based analyst says even the Jamaica Cricket Association president has
00:52made it public that it's on.
00:55That is supposed to be the last of the three test matches and starts on July 12th.
00:59The Jamaica press carried a story saying that the Jamaica Cricket Association, Dr. Bennett,
01:09was optimistic that all would be ready to play a pink ball game.
01:17So it's really up in the air when will the lights arrive, will they be put up in time
01:23and will the quality suit the ICC and of course suit the Australians.
01:29According to Dr. Pereira, Cricket Australia is yet to approve the pink ball test at Sabina
01:34Park, which is keeping everyone in suspense.
01:38And that, he says, could disappoint Caribbean fans should it not happen.
01:42There is a lot of speculation in Kingston and people do not know whether there will
01:48be a pink ball affair or whether they'll go back to a 10 o'clock start at Sabina.
01:55And there's also the problem of the tickets.
02:00You can put out tickets for sale, not only in Jamaica, but throughout the Caribbean,
02:07if in fact you can confirm that it's a pink ball or it's a normal day game starting at
02:1610 o'clock.
02:17Following the three test matches, the teams play five T20 internationals with two of them
02:23in Jamaica.
