Leeds: Should school holidays be shorter?

The head of Ofsted says school holidays should be shorter to give children more learning time. Do children get too many holidays, should terms be longer?

00:25school and only two days you get off, so you can then spend more time with family and

00:31friends rather than having more time at school since there's only five days you get at school

00:38and two days that you don't get at school.

00:41I think half-term breaks should be longer, either make them longer or they can shorten

00:46them but then they have to give us like three weeks at full term.

00:49Well I remember it was just three days and that's all we got then and I think it should

00:53be reduced to three days now so that they're a bit longer at school because a week is

00:58too long, I quite agree.
