School Holidays in the North East

The head of Ofsted says school holidays should be shorter to give children more learning time. Do children get too many holidays?

00:46I do think, though, there should be slightly longer half-terms, because one week isn't

00:50really enough to get your energy back for the next half-term.

00:54So what they get now is, even the first week they're bored, they've got nothing to do.
