00:19As the Member of Parliament, I want to see, and as well as Minister of Planning and Development,
00:26this facility as a public sector investment program costs almost $3 million, and the facility
00:37is expected to provide services including antenatal clinic, chronic disease clinic,

00:51The Planning Minister also noted the other purpose of the facility in the rural fishing
00:55community.
00:56This facility will be addressing both health and disaster preparedness, and of course these

01:12levels of health care are concerned.
01:15The purpose of facilities like this, which recognizes the role of primary health care,
01:22is to make sure you could stay here, and not need to go to secondary health care, which
01:30is a hospital, to be on a bed for five to seven days.
01:35To make sure you don't go to a tertiary health care facility where you need to be operated
01:40on, where you need to be treated for a stroke.
01:42Minister Beckles called on the residents of the area to help maintain and preserve the
