about one aspect of its recent operations, the Trinidad and Tobago
00:08
Police Service said on Thursday that quote as part of its continued crime

00:35
many roadblocks. The TTPS said that roadblocks are strategically conducted
00:39
and have resulted in the seizure of many firearms as well as illegal

TTPS also announced that its Tactical Support Unit arrested seven persons and
01:32
seized the two high-powered rifles and quantities of cannabis during Operation

01:42
said that according to ASP Hazel Operation Blast bringing land and sea
01:47
together utilizes all branches in executing targeted operations under each
01:52
section leader. The TTPS noted that ASP Hazel said that during the month of
01:56
December 2024 five operations executed by the Guard and Emergency Branch, the
02:02
Interagency Task Force, National Operation Task Force, CASU and ERP E99
02:08
resulted in the seizure of the following one AK-47 rifle with 28 rounds of
02:14
ammunition, one AR-15 rifle, 1.2 kilograms of cannabis, seven arrests, 581 stop and
02:22

02:35
Council received intelligence from the Police Service that there was going to
02:39
be heightened criminal activity with the use of high-powered caliber high
02:43
velocity assault weapons and reprisal attacks between gangs. The National
02:48
Security Council is chaired by the Prime Minister. On Thursday there was an
