00:00In summary, these proposals aim to enhance the industrial possibility of making solutions for the transition,
00:11but under a hat of sustainability, not only environmental, but also social and economic.
00:15So the mission of the FACTA Foundation is to try to stick to what the industry can and realistically must do,
00:21with what is actually sustainable from all points of view.
00:25In concrete terms, of course, we aim in particular not only at increasingly efficient mobile aircraft,
00:31but also at sustainable fuels for aviation, primarily biocarburents,
00:35which will be available to a sufficient extent, perhaps even more than sufficient,
00:40for the first stage, that of 2030, which Europe imposes on us,
00:44about 6% of SAF in the tanks of our aircraft, but above all to invest in what will come next.
00:51In 2035, this goal is more than triplicate.
00:54There is a need for industrial policies that promote production and also encourage the use of these fuels,
00:59and also research and development on second-generation fuels, those synthetic ones.
01:04Finally, the Foundation is increasingly valuing what is emerging as another very effective lever for the fight against climate change,
01:13as well as validated by the IPCC, so internationally,
01:18that of carbon removal, that is, the removal of CO2 and the capture,
01:22which will certainly be an increasingly important and essential lever to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement in 2050.
01:29Moreover, it is also a project in which Italy is distinguishing itself,
01:32with the great Agile Venture project between ENI and SNAM,
01:36one of the largest projects in terms of capture and storage of CO2.
01:40The sector is not abandoned, it is not abandoned as an attention,
01:44in which the attention that the Foundation, the sector, receives is very high.
01:49I remind you that the Foundation sees the active and participatory work of ENAC,
01:53which is of course our government-sponsored entity,
01:56and the sponsorship of MIT and MASE, that is, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Environment.
02:02So the attention is maximum.
02:04Certainly, also the sensitivity on the other angles of sustainability,
02:08so social and economic as well as environmental, is very high.
02:11So, from this point of view, we are sure to be able to enjoy the necessary support.
