00:16Hiller Street in Diego Martin was the scene of another brazen shooting approximately 17 hours after a triple murder
00:23the night before in the Belmond area that claimed the lives of three young men.
00:27In this shooting that happened around 6.30 on Wednesday, police said two men were shot dead and another injured.
00:34The deceased men have been identified as 26-year-old Anofany Rahim Elagor and 27-year-old Calvin Levin, both from the Diego Martin borough.
00:44Investigators say the men were among a group lining at headquarters Minimart on Hiller Street just off the Diego Martin main road
00:51when a Nissan wing road pulled up and three men alighted from the vehicle and opened fire on the group.
00:57They then escaped in the vehicle.
00:59Police quickly responded to the shooting and acting on information found the car used by the gunmen at Boiler Trace Cameron Hill, Pyramin.
01:07The three injured men were rushed to the St. James Medical Complex where two of them was later pronounced dead
01:14while a third man was treated and remains in a stable but serious condition.
01:18Several specials were recovered from the scene of the shooting.
01:22Police are yet to establish a motive for the killings.

01:28Armed police in a media release this evening said the three men from Diego Martin,
01:33allegedly involved in the double homicide at Hiller Street in Diego Martin,
01:37were held following an intelligence-driven exercise that took place around 6.30pm to around 1 o'clock early this morning.
01:45Police say one of the suspects was held at Corvin Road
01:48while two other suspects were held at Upper Rich Plain Road by officers of the Western Division.
01:54One of the suspects held at Upper Rich Plain Road was also held with an illegal pistol and several rounds of 9mm ammunition.
