Six people were murdered within the past 24 hours, a triple murder in the tally. It took place before the crack of dawn in the most southwestern point of Trinidad.

00:06of three men at a campsite on a carcass beach on Thursday morning. The still
00:11shocked parents of one of the victims, 36-year-old fisherman Kareem Celestin,
00:16rummage through the site trying to figure out how they lost their son.
00:22Kareem is from Ikaka's village. His parents were at home when they heard the barrage of gunshots at about 2.50 a.m.
00:52Police arrived at the scene a half an hour later to find 21-year-old Joshua
01:05Sadu, a fisherman of 0.14, slumped in the driver's seat of a white Nissan B14
01:12parked on the beach. Kareem and another deceased, still unidentified, were
01:17discovered lifeless on the beach. The unidentified man, police say, is of
01:26African descent, medium build, dark brown in complexion with his hair in braids, a
01:32tattoo of a crab on his chest and a tattoo of a marijuana leaf on his right
01:38shoulder. Alerted by screams, officers went to the back of a shed made from
01:43galvanized sheetings and found three Venezuelan nationals missing gunshot
01:48wounds, a 15-year-old girl, Darluise Firmin, 24-year-old Rosangela Carolina
01:55Gonzalez, an unemployed female and 45-year-old Dennis Gonzalez, a builder
02:01all from Ikaka's village. The Venezuelans said they were awoken at their home by
02:07loud explosions. Then they were confronted by four masked men, all armed
02:12with firearms, who began shooting at them. The two females sustained gunshot
02:17injuries to their legs and are in stable condition. The 45-year-old male also
02:22suffered gunshot injuries but is listed in critical condition. Police retrieved
