00:00Hi, I'm Holly Alden, food and drink writer for National World.

00:03Today I'm going to be looking at and taste testing

00:06Swizzle's brand new Halloween sweets, Squeletons.

00:09Squeletons have been released by Swizzle as a way to celebrate the Halloween seasons

00:14as they're basically a skeleton-shaped version of their very popular sweet, Squashies.

00:19Let's take a look at the packaging first of all.

00:21So as you can see here, the packaging of the usual Squashies has been changed

00:26to reflect the Halloween season.

00:28Swizzle's have used black and white colours and a green font

00:32to kind of reflect, in my opinion, Beetlejuice.

00:35The new Beetlejuice film was released in the cinemas not too long ago

00:39so of course by using similar colours and branding

00:42makes this product very recognisable on the shelves.

00:45I don't know if this was intentional or not by Swizzle's,

00:48however by using Beetlejuice's recognisable colours and branding

00:53it does make the package stand out among the rest of the Halloween sweets on the shelves.

00:58It also has a few little cute cartoon images of skeletons on the packaging as well

01:04and also makes it clear that it is a limited edition.

01:08Let's go in and have a taste.

01:12So I've picked out one of the orange ones just by chance, it's not a particular favourite.

01:16I think I might try a few actually just to compare the flavours

01:19but you will see that they are little skeleton faces which is really cute.

01:29Very nice, exactly like the usual, Squashies taste really similar,

01:33have the same chewy texture that I love on a Squashie personally

01:37and yeah, the only difference really is that they're designed with the skeleton faces.

01:42But as I say, if you're a fan of Halloween

01:45or you want to stock up on some Halloween sweets for trick or treaters coming to your door

01:48then these are just a really fun version of the popular sweet.

01:53After going in actually to try another flavour

01:55I've realised that not all of the designs on the Squashies are the same

01:59so although they all have the skeleton heads,

02:02this one actually has headphones on which is cute

02:06and the green one has a little top hat.

02:08So these were kindly sent to me by Swizzles to review

02:11and I will say they're absolutely great.

02:13If you already like Squashies you're definitely going to love these

02:16but if you're someone that's wanting to put a bit of Halloween spirit in your sweets

02:20then yes, the packaging and the design I think is spot on and you just can't go wrong.
