The concept of Freelancing is different from a conventional job because it gives you the freedom
to be your own boss rather than being employed by someone. Freelancing is for all those people
who are not happy with their 9-5 jobs, and don’t want to follow the mechanism of conventional
jobs. Freelancing is better than any other job because it gives you freedom of time, and there is
no need to follow a formal working environment. But hard work, self-assessment, and dedication
are the most important factors to be a successful freelancer.

00:00I'm going to teach you how to cheat, ladies and gentlemen, but don't tell anyone, it's
00:17very important.
00:18And that's why I'm going to tell you on one condition, if you keep that to yourself.
00:25It's a bad thing to tell people how to cheat, but sometimes when things aren't going well,
00:34the system has to learn, it has to understand.
00:38I didn't use the word manipulate here.
00:42I used the word learn.
00:47For a freelancer, there are many problems at different stages of their career.
00:54Sometimes they get stuck and they really cannot find the clue to get out of that situation
01:01they find themselves in.
01:03You bid, but you don't get an answer.
01:06You did a lot of things in the right way, you made a good profile, you chose the right
01:13words when bidding, the portfolio was also very strong, everything was great, you got
01:21the right people, but somehow you're stuck and you don't get an answer.
01:26Here we will talk about four things that I have learned over time and I don't want you
01:32to go through that experience, but as a matter of fact, if you feel you are stuck as a freelancer,
01:37stop worrying.
01:38Instead, do these four things, starting with, see what other freelancers are doing.
01:47Now how will you see?
01:49You can see by going to their profile.
01:52You can see their feedback on their profile.
01:55You can see how much they earn monthly.
01:58You can see what feedback they have received monthly from which employers.
02:02You will start getting information about their work.
02:06When you start understanding your competitor, believe me, you will also find ways to improve
02:12your business.
02:15It's not just for digital freelancing.
02:17It's just for a general business as well.
02:20In the jewelry marketplace, one jeweler excels the most because he has a rush of customers.
02:28Why?
02:29Because from a pricing point of view, from a quality point of view, these are two important
02:34things.
02:35He understands his competitor.
02:37When he finds out what is the price of competition and what is the quality of competition, this
02:42is it.
02:43You have figured out the maths of doing effective business and become a business leader.
02:49Therefore, you begin to attract the clients.
02:52Similarly, in the freelance marketplace, recognize your competition.
02:56Look at the freelancers who bid on all the projects.
03:00Who are they?
03:01Who is bidding on every bid?
03:04Who is successfully winning awards on every bid?
03:07Nobody wins awards on every bid.
03:09Average turnaround is 1 out of 5.
03:12So, kindly see what other freelancers are doing.
03:18Post a project as an employer.
03:21Your question is valid.
03:25I am not an employer.
03:28What does my employer's profile have to do with it?
03:32Why should I post a project as an employer?
03:36I have an answer to this.
03:38You are stuck.
03:40You are not getting a response.
03:43You are bidding on every bid.
03:45There is no freebie.
03:47When you are not getting a response, it means you are doing something different or wrong
03:53than your competitor.
03:55Therefore, I would advise you to sign up as an employer.
04:00Post a project.
04:02Then bid on that project as a freelancer.
04:07You are not just bidding on your fake employer project.
04:12Hundreds of freelancers are bidding on that project from all over the world.
04:18Analyze what people bid.
04:21Analyze by sending few who you like the most based on their bid, profile and price.
04:32Three things.
04:34When you like their bid,
04:36when you see their profile,
04:39and most importantly,
04:41when you find their price competitive,
04:43open a PMB with them.
04:45Send them a message board.
04:47You can initiate a freelancer communication channel as an employer.
04:53A freelancer communication channel cannot initiate.
04:57Otherwise, a freelancer will block your messages.
04:59They will say, I am the right choice for your business.
05:02No.
05:03The interest of the employer is protected.
05:07So that only they can send the message to a freelancer they want to talk with.
05:13When you randomly send a message to some people,
05:16you will get to know their communication.
05:18What are the words they choose?
05:20What kind of messages they send you?
05:22Posting a project as an employer is free, by the way.
05:24You will get to know
05:26what kind of bid attracts more response.
05:32What is the competitive price?
05:34And how an employer awards a project to a freelancer
05:38based on the criteria I have just mentioned.
05:41The third thing is communication skill.
05:43We have talked about this in the previous videos.
05:45And we will continue to do so.
05:47Because if you do not have communication skill,
05:49you cannot do business on a freelance marketplace.
05:52For example, stand with me.
05:54If there is an in-person meeting,
05:56I will shake hands with you.
05:58If you are a man or a woman,
06:00I will shake hands with you and convince you
06:02that I am the right choice for your business
06:04by doing the communication in person.
06:06In a freelance marketplace,
06:08it is possible that your employer is across the ocean.
06:11How will you convince him
06:13that I am the right choice?
06:15There is no meeting in person.
06:17You cannot see your employer.
06:19There is no meeting that is going to take place
06:21over a coffee table.
06:23So therefore,
06:25the method is only for communication.
06:28There are two things that are necessary.
06:30When you fill in the employer's mode
06:32and post a project,
06:34three things will always inspire you.
06:36Number one,
06:38selection of words.
06:40Number two,
06:42their eagerness
06:44to get you on Skype.
06:46This is very important.
06:48We have talked about this earlier.
06:50And number three,
06:52conciseness,
06:54which means to the point.
06:57First of all,
06:59select the right words.
07:01The words
07:03that have power
07:05do not have
07:07any communication channel.
07:09Secondly,
07:11after selecting the words,
07:13you see that
07:15the communication channel
07:17wants to get you on Skype.
07:19This is very important.
07:21When he gets you on Skype,
07:23he will convince you
07:25Thirdly, conciseness.
07:27Conciseness means to the point.
07:29There is no need to tell the whole story.
07:31Just tell him
07:33why you are the right choice
07:35for the employer's business.
07:37So this is how
07:39you improve your communication skill.
07:41Fourthly,
07:43cheating.
07:45By now, you must have understood
07:47that this is not cheating.
07:49This is just figuring out of the system.
07:51Price.
07:54Price is related to your project.
07:56When you put any project
07:58as an employer,
08:00you will get a different price set.
08:02The price that excites you
08:04as an employer
08:06is the same price
08:08that you will bid as a freelancer
08:10and will excite your employer.
08:12So figure out
08:14what the effective price is.
08:16These are the four things
08:18that I have learned over time
08:20and I am telling you today
08:22in the freelance system.
