00:00So Tim, today, how did the sale go? Last sale at Camperdown, how did it all go?

00:04Yeah, sad day for the Camperdown community, 350 cattle.

00:08The market was fully firm on last week.

00:11Probably numbers might have been a few shorter down there,

00:14but overall it was a solid market.

00:16Yeah, just sad that it's the final day.

00:19Where will people go now, do you think?

00:21They'll be adrift off to Coal Lake, Mort Lake.

00:24So hopefully both those centres will get some cattle out of it.

00:29Hopefully Coal Lake will pick up a few as well, it'll be good.

00:32What does the closure of Camperdown mean for you, Malcolm?

00:35Probably an end of an era.

00:37This is where a few of us actually first started selling,

00:41which goes back nearly 40 years.

00:43Yeah, it is a bit emotional for a few people, that's for sure.

00:46A fair few of us started here.

00:47We all started probably selling here even back in the bobbycalf days

00:51and worked our way up from there on.

00:53All under probably the likes of Clary Smith,

00:55so it's all half the people that sold here.

00:57What will you do now when Camperdown's gone?

01:00Will you go to another centre?

01:01I do sell now at Mort Lake,

01:03so I'll continue going out to Mort Lake every week.

01:06But otherwise, on Tuesdays, after so many years,

01:09it's just not going to be there.
