00:00Danny O'Brien, Leader of the Nationals. I'm here in Ballarat outside the Bush
00:03Summit where the Prime Minister and the Premier will be today and surrounded by
00:07hundreds of protesters from all across Victoria on a range of issues, whether
00:12it's the emergency services tax, whether it's transmission lines, mining, all the
00:17issues that are of concern to regional Victorians, particularly farmers. We've
00:21got tractors, we've got fire trucks going around protesting a lot of noise and a
00:26lot of anger at the Labor government, particularly the Victorian Labor
00:29government, but also the federal Labor government, not listening to the people
00:32of regional Victoria. The VicGrid bill passed Parliament last night which just
00:38provides draconian measures to allow government officials, authorised officers
00:43to come onto people's land against their will and implements fines if they resist.
00:48We oppose that bill strongly, the Nationals and Liberals, and we'll repeal it if we
00:52are elected to government.
