00:00So here at the Melbourne Wool Store today, we've got nine bales of donated fleeces to be offered
00:05and sold on behalf of Rural Aid. So I'd like to give a big thank you to all of the exhibitors
00:10who generously donated their fleeces. We're hoping to make a good donation to Rural Aid this year.
00:16So this year the Australian Pleaser Competition attracted 428 fleeces, all wool types representing
00:22all growing states in Australia. That was on behalf of 150 exhibitors who got behind the
00:29competition and we're seeing around two-thirds of those auctioning today. Over the full 24 years
00:33of the competition we've been so, so grateful to them for making the effort to one, put their
00:39fleeces forward in what has been pretty tough growing conditions, to learn something from
00:44the results they've gained and to be generous enough to donate those fleeces as well. I think
00:48it's showing a really good community spirit and great to see the charity resonating with them.
