It's been some time ago that Trinidad and Tobago produced an athlete that has been able to run a sub-10 over the 100 meter distance. However, 22 year old Omari Lewis out of Liberty University broke that jinx over the weekend. Competing at the USA Conference Championships he won the race in 10.88 seconds. It's important to note though that there was a 5.1 wind assist making his time ineligible for any records.
