00:00Well, double carifter medallist Oshia Cummings returned to Tobago to a welcome reception by members of the Mason Hall Secondary School.
00:07She won gold and bronze in the 1,500 metre and the 3,000 metre races respectively.
00:12She says she has climbed another gear.
00:15Do you feel like a different athlete now that you've won bronze and gold?
00:19Yeah, I think I unlocked a new stage.
00:22So I'll be working on that stage and even I could unlock another stage that will be very bad.
00:27Oshia Cummings prefers the longer distance races more.
00:31Well, the 3,000 is my preferred event because I like more longer distances so I can hold my pace and, you know.
00:39Yeah, but the 1,500, when I see what happens, I got a goal.
00:43So train harder for the 15 and, yeah, come back bigger and better next time.
00:48Oshia Cummings is also promising to be better next year.
00:51Next year, I shall be better, very much better.
00:54I'm only 14 years old and 15, I'll be a little more developed and I'll be determined by distances.
01:01However, she believes that there should be more distance running coaches in Tobago.
01:05I think we need more long-distance coaches because there isn't really any.
01:10There's one or two few but most of them are really good coaches but some of them, yeah.
