Well some of this country's young athletes got a chance to test their progress today as the National Association of Athletics and Administrators of Trinidad and Tobago held their 5th developmental meet. It featured some close battles in the 60 meter races and 400 meter races for Under nine athletes at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

00:00We start with Section 3 of the boys on the 960m race.
00:04From the sound of the horn, it was difficult to tell who would be the emerging leader.
00:08However, Trey Morris in lane 7 and Caleb Stephens began to surge.
00:13Eventually, Morris took the win in a time of 9.66 seconds, Stephens second in 9.96 seconds.
00:20It was easier to tell who would win Section 4.
00:23Concord's Jeon Constantine pushed ahead in lane 5 and never looked back.
00:28Kimani Akinrimese finished second of Mountain Eagles.
00:33Constantine winning in 10.01 seconds, followed by Akinrimese in 10.29 seconds.
00:40Tyler Robinson of Simplex took third spot.
00:43In Section 1 of the girls under 9, Bella Rajiguez of Cheetahs in lane 2 had the fastest time of the morning with a time of 9.38 seconds.
00:53Kenzie Perryman of Concord Athletics came second in 10.16 seconds.
00:59Anastasia Pamphile of Abilene Wildcats took third spot.
01:03There were 400m races as well.
01:06Boys under 13, Caleb Arthur left it all for the final stretch for Cougars.
01:11He needed to fight officers from Giovanni Jobe of Concord Athletics and Amari Borneo of Perseverance Titans.
01:19Arthur winning in 1 minute 6.42 seconds.
