00:00 The West Indies A team will play five T20 matches against home side Nepal.
00:04 The Caribbean team is led by Rostan Chase with game number one bowling off on Saturday.
00:10 All-rounder Mark Diyal is also a member of the squad and aims to give 100%.
00:15 Obviously I'm just looking to give it my best shot.
00:17 It's a great opportunity for me, one that I've worked really, really hard for.
00:21 So I just want to make the most of it and grab this opportunity with both hands.
00:26 As wise I just want to contribute in every department that I can to ensure that we leave
00:31 here with a series under our belts.
00:34 With both bat and ball once given the opportunity, I just want to make an impact when I get to
00:39 play.
00:40 Diyal, who turned 31 in April, continues to put in the hard yards.
00:44 After all, he's hungry to don the senior maroon cap.
00:48 Most definitely.
00:49 I think it's every Caribbean player's dream to represent the West Indies A team.
00:55 And obviously getting selected for this A team is a stepping stone in that direction.
01:01 So hoping that I can put in some strong performances on this tour and stick a claim up with my
01:08 hand up for selection and for the future for the West Indies team.
01:11 And what does Diyal think about the West Indies A team's chances against Nepal?
01:16 I think the guys were pretty confident.
01:19 Obviously we don't want to be overconfident and take Nepal for granted because they have
01:24 been playing good cricket lately.
01:26 But we as a bunch know that once we play to our full potential and the best of our abilities,
01:32 then we are confident that we'll come out on top in this series.
01:36 Five matches will be played over eight days, with the last game taking place on May 4th.
01:41 Vinod Naumani, TV6 Sport.
