00:02 Early on Saturday, the number one team in the land,
00:07 Ohio State in the first CFP rankings, was trailing against Rutgers.
00:12 The Scarlet Knights had a 9-7 lead at the break without scoring a single touchdown.
00:18 But then, in a game where you're trying to pull off the upset as an 18 and
00:22 a half point dog, you know the offense for
00:25 Ohio State is finally going to break through.
00:27 And Travion Henderson really led the way for the Buckeyes in that second half.
00:31 The defense sensational for Ohio State, one of the best in the country.
00:36 They win 35-16, Donnie.
00:38 The hook giveth and it taketh.
00:40 Ohio State does cover by the hook on Saturday in Piscataway.
00:44 >> Yeah, Ohio State 28 points in the second half here.
00:47 And this game really turned, not in the first half when Rutgers had the lead at
00:50 the break, but early in that second half where you had a drive for Rutgers.
00:54 It looks like it was headed for a touchdown,
00:56 only turned into a tip ball interception that went the other way for a pick six.
01:00 And therefore ended Rutgers day overall.
01:02 I was really hoping Ohio State was going to get beaten this game by Rutgers.
01:06 Look, Rutgers six wins on the season.
01:08 They're no longer the pushover there in the Big Ten.
01:10 But Ohio State was on the ropes and we kept saying, hey,
01:13 they're the real number one team here in the country.
01:15 We told you they weren't that good.
01:16 Credit for them to pulling that out on the road, but
01:19 they still didn't look all that impressive doing it here.
01:21 And also, so many times we see in college football,
01:24 targeting calls that you say, how the heck did they come up with that?
01:28 That was a questionable targeting call on the interception return for
01:31 a touchdown.
01:31 Had that not happened, maybe would have propelled Rutgers to a victory if it was
01:35 called.
01:35 It wasn't, they got blown out.
01:37 Ohio State comes away with the easy victory.
01:39 >> Donnie, the total was 42 and a half.
01:42 Ohio State had entered playing to the under in all five Big Ten Conference games
01:46 this year.
01:47 I like the under because I thought Rutgers was going to stay in it.
01:50 They didn't end up covering by the hook.
01:52 But I knew the only way Rutgers was staying in the football game
01:55 was slowing down that Ohio State offense.
01:57 They did a sensational job of that in the first half,
02:00 not so much in the second half.
02:02 When you give the football back to Ohio State,
02:04 eventually the talent on that side is going to win out.
02:07 But this is not a Buckeyes team that we are accustomed to.
02:11 It is the defense leading the way for Ryan Day and company.
02:15 But shout out Travion Henderson, over 200 scrimmage yards,
02:18 a buck 28 on the ground and a score 80 more through the air.
02:22 Marvin Harrison Jr. only 25 receiving yards, Donnie, but
02:26 did have two receiving scores in that football game.
02:30 So Ohio State stays perfect.
02:32 They are 9-0 this season.
