00:00All right. What about the Gators? You know, they're down there in Tampa right now. They destroyed Perryview. I don't
00:05think anybody thought that that was going to be any kind of game. You know, probably what everyone thought they
00:10were going to kill that team. First of four, they beat Lehigh, I believe. You tell me about the Gators.
00:16You know, they didn't have a very good Southeastern Conference tournament. Do you believe that this could be a Final
00:20Four team?
00:23I've been kind of skeptical about Florida all season. I mean, we know how important guard play is in the
00:28NCAA tournament, and that whole new backcourt has been very up and down. Three-point shooting hasn't been great. They
00:34did clean up their turnovers a little bit. They were near the bottom of the country in turnover rate for
00:37the first couple of months. That has gotten better, and it really comes down to, you know, how far can
00:42their bigs take them? Obviously, a huge mismatch in the first round against, you know, an incredibly small team, and
00:49they just absolutely destroyed them there.
00:50But once you start playing those bigger teams later on, it's not going to be as easy for them. So,
00:55I'm not completely sold on Florida, and, you know, I think if they face another similarly-sized team up front,
01:01like a Michigan or Arizona, I think they lose.
01:04Are you surprised that St. Louis is kind of hanging around right now with Michigan?
01:09No, not at all, to be honest. I mean, Michigan didn't look great against Howard. You know, they didn't look
01:14great, really, the last month of the season. Came into the tournament, you know, after that loss to Purdue.
01:19L.J. Kason really kind of hurt their second unit there, and, you know, they aren't playing their best ball
01:24of the season right now, and I think St. Louis is the sort of team that they can just score.
01:28I mean, they have so much depth, and I think it's really important to note their depth, right?
01:32They've got nine guys averaging more than 15 minutes per game. When you're playing two games in three days, depth
01:38really matters because you don't want those tired legs, right?
01:41So even though they destroyed Georgia a couple days ago, it's not like they were giving everyone 35, 38 minutes.
01:46So I think these guys can definitely run and keep up with Michigan here. They definitely have the firepower to
01:51do that.
