00:20 They don't stay within the 18 and a half.

00:31 I give Texas a lot of credits for winning

00:35 Listen, they've been out basically gained in every game,
00:38 but there still, there were five and ones,
00:40 there were five and two, you know, after this game.
00:42 So they played well this year.
00:44 I'll tell you, the biggest thing I take out of this,
00:46 believe it or not, five and three they are,
00:48 is that Malik Murphy played a quarterback through.
00:51 Quinn Ewers was out, he was hurt.
00:55 So what's got, well, it wasn't Arch Manning.
00:58 So Murphy comes in, does well, you know, 16 to 25,
01:02 170 yards, two touchdowns in his debut, you know,
01:05 well enough to get the victory, nothing overwhelming,
01:07 but good enough, right?
01:09 Longhorns, he returned a punt for a touchdown as well.
01:11 But to me, and Keenan Slovis, it was awful.
01:14 Two interceptions, lost a fumble.
01:16 All three turnovers led to Texas touchdowns.
01:18 But again, to me, the story is
01:20 that Arch Manning didn't play.
01:22 Why? You know, they asked the coach afterwards,
01:24 Sarkisian, he said, well, you know,
01:25 if we scored a few more points,
01:26 we would have put him in there, blah, blah, blah.
01:28 But this is what happens when you have three,
01:30 like, high-priced quarterbacks, right?
01:32 You know, you have yours,
01:33 and now you got this Murphy kid, and there's Arch Manning.
01:36 How long do you think Arch is gonna sit the bench?
01:38 He could play four games and still keep his eligibility.
01:41 So it's not like they're worried about him losing a year.
01:44 I just found it curious that Manning didn't play,
01:47 and they chose Murphy over him.
