00:00Michigan, wow, they just crushed Tennessee, 95-62.
00:05Volunteers with a really good season to get this far,
00:09but Michigan throwing themselves into that Big Ten mix here in the Final Four.
00:13They were one of the best two or three teams in the country all season long.
00:16They get rewarded, Bill, on Sunday here.
00:20Yeah, I mean, they blitzed through the second weekend, obviously.
00:23Yaxl Lindenburg is playing phenomenal basketball,
00:27and their big guys are good.
00:28And DeMera, Marese Johnson got on track.
00:32I didn't anticipate them beating Tennessee the way that they did.
00:35And, you know, one of the signs of how good they are,
00:38Alabama and St. Louis both shot the three well
00:41and were nowhere close to this team.
00:43They've won their tournament games by an average of more than 20 points per game.
00:47They're running into a team that's won their tournament games
00:50by an average of 20 points per game.
00:51I can't count the number of elite prospects on the floor
00:55when Michigan and Arizona play on Saturday,
00:57but that is going to be one of the – we're building it up maybe too much.
01:01It could be one of the best semifinals ever played in the Final Four.
01:04Yeah, definitely.
01:05So can't wait to break this down with you.
01:07We'll do that in just a second.
01:08First, let's go back to Arizona's win over Purdue.
01:11Again, the Boilermakers got far in the NCAA tournament,
01:14so they have nothing to complain about.
01:16But, man, watching this game seemed like two different classes of teams
01:19on the court in this one.
01:21Arizona dialing it back to the early part of the season
01:23where they were so dominant, they win by 15.
01:26They were five-and-a-half-point favorites.
01:28So as you said, Bill, they're going to get tested now in the big way
01:31coming up on Saturday.
01:32But credit to Arizona.
01:34A team – you know, this doesn't always play out like this, Bill,
01:37where a team that's so good at the beginning of the season
01:39actually lives up to the billing.
01:41Not that they're playing with house money.
01:42They want to win the championship.
01:43But the accomplishment of getting to the Final Four,
01:45that's what they set out to do.
01:47Oh, yeah.
01:48And obviously with Coa Pete, the talented freshman that they have,
01:52Burry's played very well.
01:54They're huge.
01:55They control the rebounding.
01:56They control the tempo.
01:57I think Purdue threw them off a little bit in the first half
02:00by the way that they were playing.
02:01Deliberate style with the three seniors that they have in Smith,
02:04Kaufman, Wren, and Lawyer.
02:06But here's the rare opportunity that the Wildcats have.
02:09There's only been 11 teams pull off the Triple Crown,
02:12which is in the seeding era.
02:14Regular season, conference tournament, national title.
02:18Duke obviously loses in the Elite Eight.
02:20Michigan had lost in the Big Ten Tournament Championship to Purdue.
02:23So you have to be a truly special team to do the things that Arizona is doing.
02:28It kind of got lost on me that it had been 25 years since they made the Final Four.
02:33But this team is every bit as good as those Final Four teams that Arizona had under Lute Olsen.
02:38And every bit as capable of winning the national title.
02:42You can't be helped but impressed with what they've done to this point.
