00:00 All-rounder Yannick Carrier played a key role with bat and ball to help TNT Red Force get
00:04 the better of Leeward Islands Hurricanes in Thursday night's regional Super 15 Taruba.
00:08 He took five wickets and also hit an unbeaten 45.
00:11 Speaking with CWI Media, the 31-year-old said the objective is to keep working hard.
00:16 "I'm just happy we got the victory.
00:18 I think every time you come to play a cricket game or any game, any sport you play, you
00:22 try to get a W. That's the most important for me, winning.
00:25 I still have a lot of work to do, but I'm enjoying my bowling and I'm enjoying the conditions
00:29 which are present to me.
00:30 I still have a lot of work to do and hopefully I can keep getting better."
00:35 Carrier knows the importance of adding more variety to his bowling armoury, hence the
00:39 reason for using a certain type of delivery more often.
00:41 "Over the years I hardly bowl googly's.
00:43 I was one of my main balls.
00:46 In this cricket, in this era of cricket, I think having a googly is very important and
00:50 I keep working on it every single time I get an opportunity to practice."
00:53 Carrier is yet to be dismissed having had scores of 31, 71 and 45 this season.
00:58 And how does he feel about his batting display?
01:00 "I'm just happy we got the victory.
01:02 I just want the team to continue putting up these totals and chasing our runs.
01:07 Once we get a win, I'm very happy."
01:09 From four matches thus far, TNT Red Force won three with one no result against combined
01:14 campuses and colleges.
