After TKR's victory, Kieron Pollard lauded his boys for playing as a team.

00:00Trinbago Knight Riders had a nail-biting penultimate ball win against Barbados Royals in the Republic

00:06Captain Kieran Pollard could not have asked for more, with his side knob having three

00:10wins and one loss.

00:12Again, obviously a total team effort tonight, when you look at it and you look at the guys

00:16that contributed to the win, that is what we talk about in TKR.

00:20When some guys don't do the job, the other guys come and follow, and I thought it was

00:24fantastically done.

00:25In the back end, Akeel and Tero had an opportunity to finish the game in Antigua and they didn't,

00:30so they felt bad about it and they went and they practiced hard and they got an opportunity

00:34tonight to finish the game for us, so well played to them.

00:38Even though Pollard appreciated the efforts, he knows the work is not done.

00:41Therefore, he's not resting on his laurels, in fact, far from it.

00:46Again, there's always room for improvement in everything that you do, obviously, again,

00:50when we look at it, I thought that Shaq and Carty in the middle of us tonight, they were

00:55a lot better in terms of rotation of strike and absorbing that pressure that was put on

01:00by the Royals at a certain point in time, and that was an improvement from the last

01:05game as well.

01:06So, again, as I said, there's always things you can look at and we continue to chat in

01:09the dressing room about getting better.

01:12Man of the match Akeel Hossain is fully aware TKR have the most titles, with the last one

01:16coming in 2020.

01:18Therefore, he's hungry for a fifth trophy.

01:20You know, the trophy has eluded us for a couple of years and we've been working together

01:25really hard, all hands on deck, we're not trying to leave it for anyone, so it's good

01:29to have these sort of finishes, these sort of success coming from the younger players

01:33in the back end, and for us it's now to mature and help the senior guys along the way.
