A capsule containing rock and dust from asteroid Bennu landed in the Utah desert and was quickly delivered to scientists for analysis on Sept. 24.

00:19 And touchdown of the OSIRIS-REx sample return capsule. A journey of a billion miles to asteroid
00:24 Bennu and back has come to an end, marking America's first sample return mission of its
00:30 kind and opening a time capsule to our ancient solar system. And you can see now the SRC.
00:36 At last we have a visual of it on the surface of the Utah Test and Training Range.
00:41 Recovery operations. Helicopter one is cleared to depart the recovery site with the SRC.
00:47 And we have clearance to depart the recovery site. This is a key moment of those recovery
00:51 operations. We're already getting that SRC out of the landing zone and on its way to
00:55 the Dugway cleanroom. The doors are now open. We are entering into the cleanroom. And that
01:01 SRC is about to be moved off onto our cleanroom fixture. It is in the cleanroom. The SRC from
01:09 the desert of Utah earlier this morning arriving has been successfully delivered.
