00:03 When we conceptualized Nivesh Mantra,
00:09 we were primarily looking at creating a forum, a platform,
00:13 where we can interact with our top clients.
00:16 And we wanted to take it across India.
00:20 And we wanted to do it around the year, back to back.
00:25 And we wanted to come across as all-weather broker
00:30 for a client.
00:31 Such investor forums are very much in vogue
00:40 when the market is really performing.
00:43 And these forums and these platforms
00:45 just vanishes as soon as market starts struggling.
00:49 So our concept was that let's create
00:51 a platform which is on consistently year after year.
00:55 Irrespective of the level of the markets.
00:57 And we are kind of present in the market always.
01:00 Investor has evolved quite a lot.
01:07 What I've seen, especially in 2008 downturn in the market,
01:11 where clients have just simply moved out
01:14 from the capital market in droves.
01:16 And what I see now in the recent downturns,
01:21 client has evolved a lot.
01:22 They are far more mature.
01:25 Their expectation from the market
01:26 is far more moderate now.
01:29 And they've continued to stick on to equity.
01:31 So that's a great thing which I see right now.
01:33 Customers are, as far as equity is concerned,
01:40 they're asking a whole lot of questions.
01:43 How much money they should really put in equities.
01:46 How long they should put in equities.
01:48 And what should be the right expectation
01:50 of return for equities.
01:51 So equities, they generate a whole lot of anxieties in them.
01:55 And so in turn, they ask so many questions to us.
01:58 It's just very much because if you see investors SIP
02:07 participation in past six months or so.
02:10 Now if you see particularly small cap and mid caps
02:13 have corrected quite a lot in this period.
02:15 But SIP subscription number has just
02:17 kept on growing month after month.
02:19 And so that clearly shows that investors
02:22 have learned to stick with equities.
02:24 And that's a very good sign.
02:25 We are already on 55th Nivesh Mantra.
02:31 Today we conducted in Delhi.
02:32 And when we started, we never thought
02:34 we would reach this far.
02:35 But the kind of response we have got for this format,
02:38 as you have seen today, there was a complete full house.
02:41 And that has been the case in all of our Nivesh Mantra
02:44 which we have conducted in the past.
02:46 And as we move along, we want to take it
02:48 to various other cities, smaller centers particularly.
02:52 And we want to kind of attempt different formats
02:56 of Nivesh Mantra.
02:57 So for instance, there could be Nivesh Mantra specifically
02:59 focused for women.
03:00 And there could be Nivesh Mantra specifically
03:02 focused for maybe soldiers.
03:04 So these are the target segments which
03:08 are typically underserved.
03:10 And the equity knowledge in these pockets are really weak.
03:13 And we want to take our Nivesh Mantra in these segments.
