Some 140 sculptures of United Buddy Bears greeted National Day revellers at Esplanade in George Town on Wednesday. However, a minor controversy erupted over two Buddy Bears which apparently had a 'Hadith' etched near the posterior. Both sculptures have since been removed. The organiser denied the exhibition has been scrapped and will continue to be held until October 30th.
