00:00As we address social security on a global scale, we must have the courage to confront
00:14these systemic injustices.
00:18A silence on such atrocities renders any discussion of social security hollow and inadequate.
00:33I certainly have to reiterate these points, when we are dealing with social security,
00:41we are talking about human dignity, gross injustice, and perpetration of atrocities against innocent
00:49civilians, women and children.

00:58to Gaza signify a powerful stand against oppression and the overwhelming solidarity with the people
01:07of Gaza.
01:08The involvement of international activists, including 34 from Malaysia, underscores the
01:15importance of collective global responsibility in challenging state-sponsored violence and
01:23terrorism and advocating for the rights of the Palestinian people.
01:29Now our consistent condemnation of Zionist occupation and settler colonialism of Palestine is a
01:38testament to our commitment to justice.
01:41It transcends national boundaries.
01:52most of our country and those participants here have experienced colonization, experienced the
02:00indignity and gross exploitation and dehumanization under foreign rule.
02:07So it should not be something obscure and tough to comprehend.
02:19An effective discourse on world social security must therefore recognize and integrate these realities.
02:29What we need now is a new vision, one that reflects today's realities and prepares us for the challenges
02:37still ahead.
