The Chief Executive of US pharmaceutical firm Pfizer, Ian Read, faces a grilling by British politicians this Tuesday over his company’s bid for rival Astrazeneca. Pfizer has made two offers to buy the Anglo-Swedish firm, worth $106 billion, but both have been rejected by its board. The US drugs maker has said it will pursue its takeover efforts, and warned that Astrazeneca faces challenges if it stands alone. Also today: a chance to apply for the "most fun job in China".
