00:00Welcome back to another Luanty mod review. Today we are looking at the wall goo mod which adds a bunch of goo related objects.
00:13So you'll find just naturally in the world when you have this mod enabled these, I don't know, goo structures I guess.
00:21They're made of goo brick, and then there's shrine glass, there's some shrine glow which lights up, and we have the main shrine piece.
00:37And these I feel like spawn a little too frequently, but maybe not. What do I know?
00:44So I'm just going to harvest some of this real quick. I don't know if I actually need any of this for anything.
00:49Okay, we've got some, let's take a quick gander over here. We have the trees.
00:59So at the shrine, those will just naturally spawn in, and then we have this goo up in the trees, which I don't know if I'm going to be able to get to very easily.
01:09But the goo is kind of a pretty essential part of this mod, I understand.
01:15So in the trees, we have just this goo that kind of coalesces onto the trees, that's probably not the right term.
01:27Also it doesn't coalesce onto the tree, it's just it spawns in.
01:33So we have delicious goo, and there's a lot of it.
01:38I say delicious because you can eat the goo in a sandwich.
01:43I don't actually know if it tastes good. I have not yet tried to eat any, mainly because I don't have any bread.
01:53Oh no, I need that goo. I need it. I need it. Come on.
01:57I want the goo, please. Just give me the goo. Thank you.
02:02I already had some goo, but it's always good to have more goo because goo is good, I think.
02:07So with three goo, we can make a goo sapling.
02:11And I need one of these because I want a goo tree.
02:14Because, I mean, come on, who doesn't want a tree that's made of goo?
02:18So we're going to go ahead and place this goo sapling, and then hopefully it'll grow at some point.
02:24While we're waiting for it to do that...
02:26Oh, wow! It grew quick.
02:28So here we have a goo tree, which has leaves, as one would expect a tree to do.
02:35And then it also has tree trunks, which...
02:40I know, I know, I should have a stone axe instead of a wooden axe.
02:45Well, see, I didn't want to spend too much time making axes because we can make goo tools.
02:52But for that, we need some goo sticks, which we can make from goo planks, which we can make from goo trees.
02:58Also, I got one from breaking the leaves.
03:00So we're going to go ahead and take the trunks, make the planks, and then make the sticks.
03:09There we go.
03:10So, how did I do this again?
03:13I need the bricks.
03:15Well, I probably should have taken more bricks then, huh?
03:17I only have three bricks.
03:18So we're going to have to run back to that shrine to get some more bricks, I suppose.
03:22We now have a Walgu pickaxe.
03:25Yeah, give me a second here.
03:28Okay, well, the shrine is removed.
03:30I have harvested all of the Walgu material from that.
03:34So I hopefully now have enough to make the full array of tools.
03:43They follow pretty much your standard tool recipes, just using the Walgu sticks and Walgu bricks.
03:49Oh, shovel!
03:50I forgot the shovel.
03:51Let's make a Walgu shovel, just cause, just to have the full array of tools here.
03:56Okay.
03:57All right.
03:58Now, as far as tool capabilities go, it doesn't really seem like it's crazy fast, but it did appear
04:11as if the shovel digs stone, which I'm not sure if that was intentional.
04:19The sword can dig stone.
04:21Okay.
04:22What about the axe?
04:24The axe, unfortunately, is held backwards in your hand.
04:30And the pickaxe digs everything as well.
04:33All right, well, so we can dig with any of the tools, which is quite neat.
04:38Let's go back over by these trees here, cause I think I need some more goo.
04:44Um, I would need some bread to make a sandwich, so, uh, we won't be doing that, unfortunately,
04:49because I don't have any bread around.
04:53But, but there are a few other things that we should take a look at.
05:00So, um, yes, here's our Walgu sandwich, and you need a piece of bread, or a loaf of bread,
05:06I suppose, and some Walgu, and you will get a Walgu sandwich, delicious Walgu sandwich,
05:11I have been told.
05:14I don't know who told me that.
05:15Okay, the Walgu shrine.
05:17I don't know if this does something.
05:20No, I can, I can break it by hand, though.
05:25Which is kind of interesting.
05:28Um, we have the Walgu glass and the Walgu light.
05:32Both of which can also be broken by hand.
05:35And we can use the pickaxe to break them.
05:38Those are all craftable as well.
05:40So, we have the wall, or shrine glass, sorry, made from glass and Walgu,
05:46and then we have the shrine glow, which is a torch and Walgu.
05:50The trees, of course, we've already seen, cause I made a tree.
05:55I made a tree.
05:56Oh, we can make our own shrine.
05:58I don't know exactly what the point of that is, because it didn't seem to do anything.
06:06Cooking the Walgu block, we get brick.
06:09Walgu block comes from nine Walgu tools.
06:12We already saw how to make those.
06:14The sapling was that.
06:18Walgu portal court.
06:20Now, see, this is something I'm not sure on.
06:23Because we have the shrine research template.
06:26But there's no recipe for it.
06:28But we do have a Walgu research table.
06:31So, you know what?
06:32Maybe, maybe I need that.

06:37A Walgu shrine spawner.
06:40Oh, I see.
06:42So, if I use my Walgu shrine that I have, I need a glow and a glass.
06:47Okay, I think we can make this happen.

06:55Alright, so now we have a Walgu shrine spawner.
07:00Which I believe lets us pretty much infinitely dupe things, right?
07:04So, here we put in a, whatchamacallit, a shrine.
07:10And now we can harvest all of the materials from the shrine.
07:13And, well, what do you know?
07:17It's extra goodies.
07:20Let me take that out of here.
07:24Yeah, and then we can take that out.
07:27And we could make another.
07:29And we can just get all of the material that's housed in a shrine very easily.
07:34Also, it looks like the shrine spawner itself is still here.
07:40So, I wonder.
