Fold and hang, 30 seconds. Standing forward bend stretches the hamstrings and calves. Standing forward bend (Uttanasana): feet hip-width apart, fold from the hips, and let your hands reach toward your shins or the floor. Keep your knees soft, bend them as much as you need, and let your head hang. Stay for as long as is comfortable. Choose a comfortable depth, there is no need to reach the floor. Come up slowly with soft knees.

Stop if you feel dizzy or any pain in your back. Come up slowly. If you have a back condition or balance concerns, check with your doctor first.

Save this for your next yoga session or stretch session.
