00:00Well, if you're a Cowboy fan, you may have just ended the season for the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:05They fall to two and five.
00:06The Cowboys now three and four.
00:08They roll to a 38-21 win.
00:11Reminder, the total closed at 43 and a half for the game, and the Cowboys scored 38 points.
00:18Devontae Williams, he was the most heavily bet prop to score a touchdown last night.
00:23That did happen, but he ran the ball for 155 yards, becoming the first Cowboys since Ezekiel Elliott
00:29to rush for 150 in a game, and the first opposing running back to get to that mark
00:34since Nick Sirianni became the head coach of the Eagles back in 2021.
00:39Fifth straight loss for the Eagles after opening up 2-0.
00:43They're now 2-5, and there has to be some real questions about what Philly does
00:48heading towards the trade deadline.
00:50What do you do with Saquon Barkley?
00:52What do you do just with the rest of this football season?
00:55You know Jalen Hurts is not coming back.
00:57Do you need Devontae Smith to play?
01:00Do you need Saquon Barkley to play?
01:02Like, I know you have home games, and you have ticket holders, and people you have to answer to,
01:07but this is a lost season for the Philadelphia Eagles.
01:11And so now, it's about the Giants and the Cowboys in the NFC East, which is somewhat crazy
01:17to say that.
01:19After winning back-to-back NFC East championships, there's going to be a new king of the division
01:25coming up this year, which is normally what happens.
01:28For 20 years, no one had gone back-to-back until the Eagles did last year by winning the NFC
01:34East.
01:35Are the Cowboys going to be that team?
01:38Because the Giants right now with J.J. McCarthy feel like a team that is really going to be a
01:45problem
01:45for anyone that they face.
01:47The defense for the Giants played really well on Sunday.
01:50J.J. McCarthy played great against the Texans, and there's all this conversation now about J.J. versus Jackson Dart,
01:57who actually is the quarterback of the future for the Giants.
02:02You have a lot of money invested, obviously, a first-round pick in Jackson Dart,
02:06but J.J. under Harbaugh could be the secret sauce.
02:10And depending on how good the year goes, if the Giants win the division, go to the playoffs,
02:16what do you do with Jackson Dart?
02:19Trade him in the offseason?
02:21Is it all J.J.?
02:22So I'm really curious to see what's going to happen.
02:26Giants are taking the division.
02:28Go Cowboys.
02:29I mean, they could.
02:31They absolutely could.
02:33So Eric says, shut it down.
02:36Dom says, mail it in.
02:37And I mean, we're halfway through the year, right?
02:41So we're playing or almost right.
02:44We're into week eight.
02:45And so we now look at what will happen.
02:49There's nine weeks left of the regular season for the Eagles.
02:53What are you playing for?
02:55You need to get everyone healthy for next year.
02:58Do you really?
02:59I mean, I guess there's contract incentives and there's other things at play.
03:03But if Nick Sirianni is coming back, which by all accounts, they're not going to blame
03:08him for what happened with Jalen Hurts and what happened with Saquon Barkley and Devonta
03:12Smith and everything.
03:13I mean, the injuries have been significant for this football team that it's not Nick's
03:18fault.
03:18So they're going to bring back the head coach.
03:20You're bringing back the staff.
03:21So now it's about 2027 and getting everybody healthy.
